I've loose natural hair, and I know what you're saying about missing a bob. My hair gets about 80% shrinkage, so it was great to rinse my hair every other day and have a fresh style in about 30 min was great. I'm almost waist length now, and it's so much work, and it makes me miss my shorter hair, but I can't get over myself when I straighten my hair and it swishes and I feel like a princess. I don't wanna give that up either 😭

I started mine with two strand and the only thing I would say is make sure you band and braid when you wash your hair! I stopped doing that and a few of mine bunched up a bit at the back.

I was loc’d since Feb 2021 and loved my decision. A loose natural girly showed me a short you posted, “Go ahead and dread yo head up,” that one lol. By the way, I LOVED the green! Keke, I am planning to loc my hair because of you! You are my hair inspiration & have been for 3 years now ❤️ The only reason I haven't installed them yet is because of time and a bit of fear to do it myself. I want a clean grid. I found a loctician in Kenya (I live in Uganda) I am comfortable with so she will install them for me. Almost at my first full year 😱! I remember when you uploaded those first couple of videos starting your locs and when you shared the struggle to commit. I was just graduating from college and had my fro free for years by then. As beautiful as I thought microlocs were… I was tiptoeing with that commitment so bad. This is my 3rd set and my favorite. I learned something new each time and now my hair is the longest it's ever been. Now I'm on a journey to embrace my gray and stop coloring it. It's gonna be a bit of a struggle but I'm up for it.

Congrats! Your hair is beautiful and I usually refer others to your channel for guidance. I did loc my hair for 3 months and my hair grew abt 3 inches which scare the crap out of me. I know someone with ankle lenght locs and l didn't want that so l took them out. I would love to microloc my hair just wish the growth rate to be less. Congrats again on your journey.
