If she's got the ability and determination to do things like this at such a young age, she's gonna be a force to be reckoned with when she's older. Calling it now. There'll be an interview with her in her skyscraper office 20 years from now, and she'll have the slushie machine right there so no more hassle.

The power of God 🙏🏾 I cannot tell you how many times I could have gotten hurt and God protected me 🥰🥰🥰 I was followed home before, I prayed and all of a sudden the driver started swerving and almost hit a few cars trying to get away from something I couldn’t see. He ran a red light and sped off 🥲😇 it was a shoot out I was riding pass the gun man shot at my window the sparks came out but the bullet didn’t, but the pressure of the impact made a loud noise , I thought someone hit my car I went to stop and say something, before I could the passenger I was riding with , stopped me and yelled it’s a gun go!!!!! The power of God is real 🎁 I thank you Lord for everything 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

When my daughter was young, she would do things like this. Nothing prepares you to raise kids like this, it's a learning experience, others will judge you, and you hope you can channel their wildly out of the box intelligence and gumption to something amazing. This little girl has determination and an affinity for independence. Her mom seems like someone who will nurture that instead of shaming her for coloring outside the lines.

I love this!! She encountered the right ppl and made it home safe 💖 she’s gonna grow up to be very independent 😊 I remember I did something similar as a child (and so did my sis lol). I didn’t wanna wait for the bus at school to take me home so I sneaked out from school early and walked home all alone through these busy roads but didn’t see my mom there. So then I walked to my grandma’s place. I was around 4 years old during this time. My grandma was so shocked 😅 My sis did something similar too where she wanted to go to MY friends house all alone when she was around 3 or 4. She started walking there but got stuck halfway through bc she couldn’t open the door to the staircase with her tiny hands (we were in an apartment building that time) and got stuck between two floors. We were worried sick looking for her but finally found her crying at the staircase. Safe to say me and my sis turned out pretty independent and always go for the things we want 😝 this little girl is gonna be like that too ✨

Kids can be ignorant of the dangers in this world and how cruel people can be- even the seemingly nice and innocent ones. So with that ignorance, they have no fear cause they don't know that they should be afraid. I did the same things when I was 4 years old. When I was really little, my friend (and neighbor at the time) and I wanted to go to my house. My grandmother had been watching us all day and it was night time and we were ready to go home. We had got impatient waiting for my mom to come get us. But my grandmother's house was over half a mile away. So we just left while my grandmother's back was turned and walked home on our own. It was fun to us, we thought we were on an adventure. But my mother yelled at us and told us how dangerous that was when we got home. I wouldn't do things like this as an adult.

My kids did something almost exactly like this. They were 6 and 7 years old when one morning we woke up and they just weren't in the house. We called the cops and immediately began driving around the neighborhood looking for them. About 20 minutes later, the police got a call from a couple of women who saw two small children walking to a convenience store. Turns out, they wanted to go get some snacks, so they'd gotten dressed and put their shoes on and walked about half a mile to Circle K. They didn't have any money, but that wasn't gonna stop them. I was just glad the people who saw them called it in, because who knows what someone else might've done. I drove over, thanked the women, and ushered my two kids into the car to take them back to their nearly-hysterical mom. Little idiots.

Ooomg!! My mom told me I did the same thing at two years old. I was smart enough to open a bolt lock, two twist locks and door knob( we lived in Chicago Housing Projects). I went down 6 flights of stairs in a dark hallway ( we stayed on the third floor) and managed to walk across a baseball field without any supervision to my grandma’s house. A friend of my mother’s happened to be looking outside her window and she sees a little girl ( me ) walking around the park at 3:00a.m alone in Chicago Housing projects. Once her brain registered that it was me, she ran down the stairs ( she lived on the 5th floor adjacent to the building I lived in), grabbed my hand and took me back home to my mother. Once she arrived in the apartment, my mother was still sleeping. My mother was startled to see her friend in her house that early in the morning. My ending wasn’t as sweet as this little girl’s. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤣

More worrying would be the urges from a sexual predator nabbing her. I am glad she encountered decent people who called the cops.

Rings like a 7/11 commercial. I can hear 6 year old me trudging though a TV commercial waiting for Cartoon Network to continue running whatever shows on at that time.

As the sister of a brother who was abducted in broad daylight, this horrified me. My brother was 2yrs old when he was taken. Her family needs to install several security systems.

The first thing is a deadbolt up high enough that she cannot reach it although if she were determined she could probably get a chair. Alternately the parents could bet a deadbolt keyed on both sides and wear the key on a lanyard, etc.. In her case the parents really need to speak with her. A little fear would do her good. I have an adult autistic child who might still wander.. The deadbolted doors with the key always on my person is what keeps her in. I lost her once for 4 hours. Now they have Project Lifesaver for autistic children or elders with dementia. Did they ever rescue your brother? I hope so.

@@lorimav Thank you for asking. My brother was found 60 miles away by the river. At the time, four little boys had disappeared. In two cases, they had been sodomized & thrown off the roof, so when we contacted the authorities, every police unit available was on the hunt. That day, I learned the power of a higher being, the power of prayer & the power of love. All the best to you & your daughter.

@@Vallentina0325 That's frightening. How was he taken, had he wandered off by himself when someone wasn't watching carefully or was he taken right in front of a caregiver? Was he at home or in his own yard or in a crowded place like a mall? Was he unharmed and did they catch the person who did it? He's fortunate he didn't end up like the other little ones. What an absolutely horrifying situation.

@@KatarinaS. I was watching him that day. We had been playing in the backyard when I heard the washing machine timer go off. It took me 5 mins to fill up the dryer. When, I came back out, he was gone. The despicable animal who did this has/was never caught. You ask if he was unharmed. It depends. Physically, he had scratches, bites & burn marks. Mentally, that's a whole different story. He & I will never be the same.

You need kids to be able to escape in a fire or emergency. My daughter once sleep walked right past us at 1am, unlocked the front door, opened it, and tried to walk right out. She was about 5 years old, and didn't usually walk in her sleep. My solution was simple. I tied a big cluster of jingle bells to the front door handle. It couldn't be untied without making noise. She never left without me knowing again, lol.
