I did mine last year….3 12 volt from Walmart batteries also. So far so good. I have been very pleased.

I was looking at getting a 3 lithium battery 36v conversion kit, can't fit the single 36v lithium battery in my ezgo marathon without more work than I want, but now I'm just going to do this. It's not going to be driven a lot or very far. Those 6v batteries are way too expensive, I think it's because they are very specialized and they know they can get it. Thanks for the videos and helping people save money

I am glad that I can help you and you are going to love this easy conversion of the 3, 12V deep cycle batteries. You might want to consider a new charger amzn.to/3YnKAZC

Just did this to my cart and I’m so glad I did. I’ll never buy another golf cart battery ever again. 3x12v deep cycle batteries and I still use the same charger I had with the 6 Trojan batteries. Charges faster and I get better acceleration and they actually last longer than the others. I was skeptical at first but I saved a ton of money not to mention I took off about 160 lbs of extra weight.

I just converted mine with the same battery but it won’t run. I tripled checked everything. It ran this morning before I switched them. Is there anything that needs resetting or could have tripped? Lights work and voltmeter works. I’m not getting any clicks or sounds when turning the key on or putting in forward or reverse…..??
@RoadMisfit187Ай бұрын
@jduncan740 I have never had anyone have a problem it's pretty straight forward. First I would get a volt meter and check that you are roughly getting around 36v across the three batteries. Make sure it's wired correctly

So zero problems except you did only get 3yrs from batteries?

@@chrisw6690 believe 3 or 4 years. Since then I got a new charger
