Amazing. Sitting at work watching KZbin videos about minimalism, travel, and one-bag living....... makes me want to quit. Alas, my skillset binds me to this location.

Hey Blaine, thanks for stopping by and checking out my video. It's all good, maybe start thinking of learning a new skill, it took me 7 years at college and 6-7 years in the industry to get travelling full time but you can learn a lot faster online these days or maybe look into earning passive income 15-30 minutes a day and let a build up over time and in a few years you can offset your bills with that. Any skill can make money these days on KZbin, just sharing your passion from metalwork & welding to recommending books/games/movies you like or even Uber drivers and the cycling community showing their journey and how much they earn. A skill is a skill :)

That is actually one of the best packing video on yt. No bs. I've travelled a lot lately (business), but didn't have to keep it all that clean. I had 23kg luggage everytime etc, but I optimized my packing everytime and it really improved over the last half a year. I can imagine yours is almost perfect by now. Toothpaste pills is my discovery here! Thanks for this! Good luck mate

appreciate the detail of you writing every item when they're laid out. And showing what you took for the short trip as well. Love videos like this. Foldable sunglasses is a genius idea. Never thought of that.

No problem at all. It keeps me organised and I really enjoy laying everything I own out online too. Tell me about it :) When I found the sunglasses I thought I hit the jackpot. I've also just seen yesterday that people now make leather goods out of discarded Mangos... Such a great idea: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJTMlo2PrN54n6M

Thanks Mike. Sure, I think so too :) I believe that's what I was trying to show in this video. It's okay to take lots of stuff when you travel but just keep in mind that you have to be the one to carry it. Hi, no problem at all, thanks for your comment :) I talk about this a bit at 2:49 in the video. I simply wash them by hand if I don't have a lot to wash or place them in a washing machine if there are quite a few things to wash.

Couple of questions, if I may - ❶ I noticed you have the same trimmer I have. How do you prevent it from accidentally turning itself on when in transit. I have had that happen to me on several occasions as the power button is pretty sensitive. ❷ How do you lash on the water bottle to the side of your bag? ... a video on that would be helpful.

Chinese parents and relatives always worry about you being too less, such as one cooker, and as the younger generations, we have to release their worries by agreeing with them. Having a fight for saving spaces right before a trip isn’t good either. Some even wait in airport to check if their kids can add more items into their luggage 🤣 Wanna try one bag travel one day next time when I travel abroad (done it domestically by sneaking out from home 😂 they really reduced thru time!

just a thought.... i always wear my heaviest footwear on those flights and days i'm travelling to lessen the weight and space taken up in the bag. alternatively, a trail runner style sneaker will do the job year round, unless you are walking through snow ! happy travels, Walkie Talkie Traveller :)

How do you travel with a safety razor (with razors that are removable)?!
@chrispnw254711 ай бұрын
It may be time to do a video update. With many airlines adopting a 7kg weight limit for all carry-on items and only underseat bag for free, an updated travel strategy may be warranted.

Not at all, I'm confident in my skill/ability to earn money as one of the keys to life is to 'learn how to learn' so you can adapt easily to life when it changes and learn a new skill if necessary. Also, I have designed my life in such a way where I don't have any huge bills like a mortgage, pets, children, cars, lots of expensive pieces of tech, phones, clothing etc. I buy some expensive things but they're not a constant monthly outgoing. Thanks, I'm glad you liked the talk and hope you found it useful :)

I can't stop buying clothes. Help!
@TravelGoExplore3 жыл бұрын
If clothing brings you joy and you love buying clothes then maybe look at ethically sustainable clothing. So clothing with good sustainable materials (even if they cost a little more) and where people are treated well and paid well with zero slavery involved. Then when you buy clothing (even if that's a lot) you are supporting a healthy system then you can work on managing the word "more" (buying less) over time. I hope that helps :)
