Hey Callum, glad to hear your experience has been such a positive one overall. Very encouraging to hear as I am now approaching my medical, which leads me to my question. In your experience have you come across or heard of anyone passing the medical that had been on anti-depressants previously? I have been off them for a year and took them for less than a year, I believe I was misdiagnosed as I was grieving for a loss at the time. My recruitment officer has encouraged me to go for it anyway and said only the medical officer can make that decision. Any thoughts or wisdom would be much appreciated. Al the best. Dan.

Daniel Anthony Hello and thanks for watching! Im no way medically qualified to answer this question but i suppose if you approached it with alot of positivity the MO will have no doubt that you will be fine! I cant really give you more advice than that im afraid but yeah Positive Mental Attitude towards everything doesnt go unmissed
@danielanthony61417 жыл бұрын
Callum Frogley appreciate the swift response Callum, I'll do exactly that, go in with a positive attitude and hope the best! It's out of my hands really so not much worth in worrying about it. Can you remember how long the medical process took, from completing the assessment, being declared medically fit and then beginning the next stage? I've got my eye test later this week which should be a doddle. Cheers

You need to do a day in the life of someone in the royal navy what it's like and stuff like that we don't have any content like that on youtube
@CallumFrogley6 жыл бұрын
There are plenty of tv shows like warship on channel 5 that will shows what life is like onboard
@helloitsme17856 жыл бұрын
Callum Frogley well yea but it doesn't show or talk about when your not at sea ie at base. Doesn't show stuff like sore leave and doesn't talk about stuff like accommodation, daily training and a doesn't talk about quality of life. I believe that you could become quite a popular KZbinr if you give honest accounts of everything about the navy. People want information on the UK royal navy but there isnt any youtubers out there who do ( apart from royal navy youtube channel but they are a bit bias) it thats why your videos are quite popular. Even if you dont take my advice i hope you do well and get more subscribers.
@CallumFrogley6 жыл бұрын
@@helloitsme1785 thank you for the advice but I cant talk about things where it isnt my place. My experience in the navy has been excellent and it is about how the individual interprets it. unfortunately you wont have a proper opinion until you have been part of it.
@helloitsme17856 жыл бұрын
Callum Frogley can't you give your personal opinion on the matter though and just disclaim it beforehand I find it quite odd that there are no royal navy youtubers as they have them in the USA, Australia and that. Is it a rule or something just wondering.
@CallumFrogley6 жыл бұрын
@@helloitsme1785 im not sure what the rules are regarding what i can say online as there are no set guide lines. I know the RN are building a larger social media presence and have been recently publishing lots of videos online etc. I would love to do a 'day in the life' video as it would be informative but i would have to gain the permissions to do so....possibly something i could work towards!
