Nice collection of ideas. Two comments: 1) I would think that the ones with glass walls would be hard to keep clean and smudge less. 2) The ones made from dressers look a little contrived. I think the easiest and most attractive way to do it is to find an old curio/china cabinet, which has glass on three sides. Replace all the glass with hardware fabric, and voila, a gorgeous aviary.

Thanks! Birds love to have a "roof" over their head, dressers make wonderful bird cages.

Brilliant…some need the sides cut open and are too cavernous….also, not a fan of the glass doors.

Birds need sand, Coal, sea shelf, as fruit, Green, and corn
@PascaleLaurent8111 ай бұрын
No they don’t. Sand, coal, seashells?? 😂 Nah not at all. Fruits are to be given only as treats. Corn is a filler more than anything and greens are okay but they need a variety of vegetables and legumes in their diet.

Where do I get non-galvanized wire-mesh? Galvanized wire is poisonous for budgies. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@gracecamaxtli709010 ай бұрын
There’s a way to make it safe by soaking and scrubbing with vinegar. If you google it you’ll find it. If not write back 😂 I did it once before, takes forever but worth it. I couldn’t afford stainless steel wiring!! Had to get the chicken wire galvanised stuff

Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included kzbin.infoUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
