there was a deck like this in the 2010 era called Mewperior which used Mew prime to put Rhyperior Lv.X in the lost zone and then use Rhyperior's hard crush attack, which discards 5 cards off the top of the deck and does 50 for each energy. it's a ton of fun to play in paper for sure, ripping cards off the top is some of the most fun i've had playing the tcg.

@@gamer-ph5on went 3-1 the loss was close he stopped benching in game 2 and i got him down to 4 prizes was tough to close with the volcarona. I play it for fun every now and then surprisingly it doesn't brick that often. Mostly play expanded with my old venusaur/ shining genesect deck or reshizard but every once i a while ill surprise someone with a quick kyogre sweep

This deck honestly isn't busted... in fact pretty bad. I tried this deck with the same exact list... having everything you need to win is VERY low. It's like a 20% chance you can get a Turn 1 Cryogonal with a Kyogre... even if you get that they can boss and KO your Kyogre.... even with 2 in play (assuming one gets bossed/KO'd) you're only hitting for 150-200 on average which isn't even a KO against most V decks. After that you most likely brick.... it's also hard to get the Fire Combo off with Volcarona. There's a VERY good chance it gets prized or discarded... even if you have it you still have a 1/20 chance of getting a fire energy for it.... It's good when it works, but it only works like 20% of the time.

Ye bro you’re right I was skeptical… however im gonna give it a shot because your math is wrong… if you need a basic to start the game and there are 9 basics and 4 cryagonal it is therefore a 4/9 chance ~48.25 chance to start with cryagonal… in addition, you have three quick balls… but ye you are right about getting both cryo and kyog in the same hand or cryo and qb… right concept bad math

@@mannylee4097 Nah man... first off I didn't do any math, it's just a rough estimate. Also you only calculated the possibility to start with a Cryagonal when I said "turn 1 start with a Cryagonal and a Kyogre" meaning that the math you did is still wrong according to my statement. Anyways even if you do get a Kyogre and Cryogonal in play, I found that my Kyogre gets bossed as soon as I get the energies on it so I never get to use it, brick and then lose.

Update: I have made this deck and have been deck testing it against my other decks...holy crap, it's amazing. There was a couple of games where the other deck setup faster or found ways around Kyogre. But this deck is easily one of my best decks I have so far. Believe the hype

So awesome to finally see Kryogre getting some play. I set this up IRL but I have it with 25 energy, Cryogonal, and Suicune V. Just to make sure I have an attacker. I have it set online with Inteleon Vmax and I have been getting dumped on. I’m gonna try this deck out this weekend.

This deck takes me back to the only deck I ever played in official tournament play. The 2010 set HeartGold & SoulSilver had three Water mons: Feraligatr with the power Rain Dance that let you attach as many Water Energy during your turn as you liked; paired with Delibird for setup with Snowy Present for 1W that let you draw a card for every Water Energy on your board; and Starmie as the crown jewel with Cosmic Cyclone, also for 1W, that let you shuffle any number of Water Energy attached to any of your mons to swing for 20 damage per Energy. This was back in the day when 140 HP was basically the cap, so shuffling 7 Energy was always enough to take out anything. Cram the deck with something like 35 Water Energy with some Rare Candy to evolve Totodile straight into Feraligatr. It won only about 3 of every 5 games, but it's one of the most fun and memorable decks I ever played in any TCG.

I've played 17 game with this deck and went 12-5... of the five games I lost, three of them was essentially lost due to bricking on the flip.. literally needing 3-4 energy and not getting enough to finish their bench before the opponent Vmax and go off.. two of the other Ls were not having cryogonal to start.. that is key to this deck.. if you can be set up by turn 2.. it's GG for your opponent.
