Armor?! Chamber?! Glob Herman? HONEY BADGER?! Since when were ANY OF THEM on the New Mutants????? Armor and Glob are from the Academy X years. Chamber is from Generation X. Honey Badger aka Scout isnt on ANY teenaged team!!!

@@pdbrwn2 Anya is a former demon from BTVS. She lost her powers. Illyana has trained in demon magic but she's missing one stone. When she gets that watch out. I don't rememberif Lockheed was her pet from the demon world.

I know the story of Miss Rasputin I read all the comics when they came out in 85 I'm a 50 something year old comic fan and collector I even had her limited series it was four issues long if you can find it read it it's a good story, I'm talking about the New Mutants comic when she joined the New Mutants

I laughed so hard when they showed the coal mine scene. As a Kentucky coal miner, I can say they did absolutely zero research before shooting that scene. The continuous miner has been used for 80 years. I have only seen one pick underground and it wasn't used at the face for mining. It was used for a project outby.

In the real world, where no one else has mutant powers, I'd want to be Prodigy. I've never heard of him before but, as a Ph.D. student, his powers would drastically cut down my studying and research time.😊

This video is all sorts of misinformation!!! It explains characters from VARIOUS eras of the mutants, but not all of them are from The New Mutants. This is how Charles's students came in: X-Men (first class, 1960s): Cyclops, Iceman, Angel, Beast, Jean Grey, Havok, Polaris X-men (Muir Island 1960s): Kid Vulcan, Darwin, Petra, Sway X-men (Second Class 1970s): Storm, Wolverine, Thunderbird, Banshee, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Kitty Pryde The New Mutants (1980s): Karma, Cannonball, Mirage, Wolfsbane, Sunspot, Sprite/Shadowcat/Kitty Pryde, Magma, Magik, Cipher, Warlock X-Factor Wards (1988-1991) Boom boom, Rictor, Firefist, skids, Leech, Artie, Franklin Richards X-men (third class 1980s): Rogue, (sorta kinda) Dazzler, Psylocke, Longshot, Gambit, Jubilee Generation X (1990s): Jubilee, Chamber, Husk, Mondo, Skin, Monet St. Croix, Synch Academy X (2000s): Surge, Gentle, Wing, sky dancer, Rockslide, Mercury, Wither, Anole, Indra, Loa, Radian, Quintin Quire, The Stepford Cuckoos, Elixir, Pixie, Dust, Angel Salvador, Beak, Ink, Prodigy, Hellion, No-Girl, Glob Herman, X-23, Armor, etc. There are a TON of new characters from this time as this is when Xavier's changed from a secret school of mutants that could only house about 6-9 people at once to the world's premier mutant high school. But most of these kids lost their powers after M-day. The Five Lights (2000s): Hope Summers, Velocidad, Oya and two others i cant think of now . The 2010s: instead of creating their own team names of teens, this era saw many returns and resues of characters from previous eras enrolled in the Jean Grey Institute and New Charles Xavier School. The new additions are: Broo, Kid Gladiator, Tempus, Goldballs And thats all of the teenaged teams and eras of the X-men

It's mostly images from a comic book series "The new mutants" These are younger, and their powers are just starting to appear. There was a movie called New Mutants but twisted the concept 180 degrees. They are a government agaency that holds mutants in confinement.

He was born as Max Eisenhardt, but after escaping from imprisonment with his fellow prisoner during WW2, he changed his name to Erik Lensherr and she changed her name to Magda. They then lived in a small village until they found out about Erik's powers and burned down their home, killing their young daughter, Anya. Magda ran away and Erik began going by "Magnus" and "Magneto."

@@jbmoore4436 This might have been after the realignment of the 2nd group of X men. Something happened and her story was reset so she went from an adult to a child in Africa or something her parents had been killed during an attack. She wandered around and was taken in by a street gang and she became an expert pickpocket. Apparently, she was discovered and somehow, she ended up with professor X.

@drmayeda1930 Interesting. That story does sound familiar right up to the part where Professor x found her. All these "retcons" are more than a little tiresome. Maybe she was in new mutants as a retcon character? It makes as much sense as anything else. They'll trash any story or character for a buck. Capitalism at its finest.
