space wolves hands down are my favorite, my first dog according to the animal shelter was believed to be half wolf half German Shepard and the story behind the space wolves and there loyalty fit his personality so WeIl I started playing space wolves the week he died

My favorite chapter is the Dark Angels chapter, the lore is so cool on them, even though they didn't have as great an impact on the Horus Heresy.

Space Wolves (Space Vikings) are my favorite Chapter because of the following reasons: 1. They were designed as the Emperors "Executioners".(Ex: Designed to kill any legion) 2. They dont follow the codex astartes, thus are not limited by its restrictions (Ex: Chapter Size, Tactic choice) 3. They are one of the only Chapters to know about the Grey Knights, Fight them, and even kill there Grand Master. 4. They posses a Gene seed that has more Good affects then Bad affects. (Ex: enhanced, animistic abilities) 5. They posses the oldest Dreadnought know as Bjorn the Fell-Handed who fought alongside Leman Rus. 6. They posses one of the largest and oldest fleets, and occasionally search the stars for there lost primarch. 7. They actually care about Citizens and even saved innocent people from Extermanatus by the inquisition. 8. They currently have the full support of the Wulfen which are basically Savage Space Marine Werewolves. 9. They are one of the only Chapters who's Primarch is still alive. 10. They remained Loyal to The Emperor unlike half of there brothers and are even rumored to have Executed Primarchs 2 & 11 along with there legions. Those are the reasons why the Space Wolves are my favorite chapter. Congratulations on the Epic Finally of the Horus Heresy facts videos, i noticed how you didn't Butcher any names this time. I have two favorite founding chapters. Salamanders because of their Primarch Vulkan and their take on crafting and fire. The other would be Dark Angels, I like the whole secrecy they keep some technology to themselves.

I must say, out of first founding, my favorite is Vulkan's Salamander legion (Loyal), due to their appriciation towards normal people, who cant fight, not to mention, to their never ending quest looking for their relics, not to mention their part in the drop site massacre of Istvaan V, shared by Iron Hands and Raven Guard, also partially my favorite legions, allthough, Salamanders come to the top.

I have to see, these OMS vids have introduced me to the universe that is Warhammer 40k. Now Im hooked and cant get enough. Ive never played a board game outside of the kids stuff years back, and Im not sure Im ready to get into the beast that is Warhammer, but the lore is some amazing stuff! My favourite chapter have to be the Emperors Children it is probably because they are the most majestic looking of all chapters and have very interesting story and lore. Keep up the good work guys. I love the Carcharodons (Space Sharks). Their mysterious assignment to the outer reaches of the galaxy is one of the biggest mysteries of the Emperor. Maybe you could do a video on them one of these days. Great job guys. From an old gamer, I say "Carry on the hobby young ones!"

my favorite space marine chapter is the blood angels. mostly because of their primarch sanguinius. their is something so awesome i find in their chapter and legion. Its like they all are so tied that no matter what becomes of them they will stand by each other.

Night Lords are my favorite! They are probably the most obvious to go chaos, but they are soooooo awsome! I love how they used terror tactics against foes with their brutal torture! Seems odd to me though that a assassin could kill a Primearch(though it implies he wanted to die)

First off I love what you guys are doing on your channel I love 40k lore. My favorite first founding chapter is the Salamanders I love how much importance they put on defending the people of the Imperium because they still have families themselves and despite the number of times they get screwed over they keep coming back. Much like Vulkan being a perpetual. They are also an entire chapter of dragon themed warsmiths which appeals to the kid in me that loves dragons. Sadly when they are written it tends to be pretty awful as the writers either brutally kill them to prove the strength of the enemy while keeping more favored characters alive, or they write them out of character. I think that since the Salamanders are a none codex compliant chapter and considering the challenges of their homeworld (high gravity making the use of vehicles difficult) plus with their attention to their own weapons and armour, the Salamanders could be a unique oppertunity to make another space marine army that would stand out from the others. Lastly the artifacts of Vulkan could make for a cool series of stories.

Iron hands as they have the most forgotten loyalist lore as there are no special characters for them, the iron hands also have the most logical command system as no single person can control the whole legion due to the council. If I was to choose a traitor legion then I will choose the thousand sons as they have pretty sad lore as they were driven to chaos due to Horus lying about the order to Leman Russ and I love their Egyptian looks.

The Salamanders, they uphold most of the Emperors values, protecting the imperium ideals and citizens. And they're kinda the opposite of the Space Wolves weapon and combat tactics wise while still being humanities protectors. And their Lore is well written, with a generations long hunt for the artifices of their father, Vulken.
