Also on the video about the space marine not wanting the guard help when there a problem with chaos in the chapter. They don't want to risk entire regiments being exposed to Chaos. Many regiments don't even know what chaos is. They would have to turn around and kill their helpers. So they would rather call another chapter in.

As you said in other videos, home planets are a key part of the identity of a SM chapter. Even the Ultramarines, vanilla as they are, are fascinating when looking at their role as statesmen in Ultramar and the way their society shapes them as much as it adapts to their influence.

Cause the Ultramarines do it right. Smurf players say it best when it comes to "hands on or hands off" Chapters. Space Wolves win battles, Ultramarines win wars. Fenris would never have been able to stop a Hive Fleet like Macgragge did. Harsh weather aside, the Space Wolves have had almost 10k years to properly govern their planet, and have only used it as a recruit farm. Meanwhile Macragge has been a keystone in Tau, Ork, Necron, and Tyrnaid campaigns.

The Deathwing cleanse the planet and restore the feral society. For this reason they change the color pattern of their Terminator armor from black to bone white.
