(Not cannon, but ½ of my own chapter comes from the iron hands. This is to bolster the salamanders, each with depleted numbers. The overall chapter is the smiths of the emperor, and they craft your obliteration!)

I was hoping there would be a video just like this, so thank you very much! I don’t know if you’ve ever considered it, and it may be a much greater undertaking to research than I’m imagining, but I personally love the cybernetics and augmentics of the WH40K Universe, and I’m curious what a deep dive into what kinds of aumentations there are, the most cybernetically enhanced characters we know at least a little about, that sort of thing. If you ever get the same sort of fascination I do from time to time about what it would be like to be someone like Pasanius (could’ve misspelled that) with a Necrodermis arm, and how that was different than Ferrus’s Literal Iron Hands I know I’d personally love to see a video just doing a deep dive on the subject I can see the title already “40 Facts and Lore on the Cybernetics/Augmentics of Warhammer 40k”

I’ve made a black dragons and blood angels successor chapter which has a huge amount of black rage gene flaw. So much so they have to keep there death company for as long as possible in order to fill the size of a successor chapter. They are big just like the salamanders but the gene flaw while is extremely prevalent in the chapter it is being tempered by the teaching of nocturne from the forge to the understanding that at the end of the day saving the imperium is with its people. Before the fall of marines to the black rage there has never been a case of bone mutation commonly seen in the Black Dragons and have never had the gene flaw of the Red Mist. During the first stage of the Black Rage they begin to lose sanity before battle in small almost panic attacks like episodes. By this point the marines mind could be controlled again by heavy meditation and following the teachings of both the Cult of Sanguinius as well as the Promethean Cult. Later stage 1 will eventually take hold no matter what they do, and this will affect there sanity while in combat to show signs of the flaw taking significant hold over the mind of the subject. At this point the gene flaw would be reported to a chaplain which then would have to give his brother there last rights as a still conscious and semi sane brother with honor. When the Black Rage enters its second stage the marine starts to mutate bone growths throughout there body completely destroying there sanity from the sheer amount of pain. There armor would have already been taken to insure it isn’t damaged during the growths from the second stage process.

Its unlikely the grey knights are (in comparison to most) pretty clued up They were formed by malcador and im sure they take there formation and history extremely seriously The imperial truth is probably just one of many guards against chaos
