RG 13 cadians largely get a pass due to practicality but they will kill them if they see grey knights. The policy of killing soldiers who fight chaos is more upheld in the interior of the Imperium because chaotic memes and faiths would spread via rumour from surviving soldiers

Shane Tarrant i Would Think that the Imperial Guards on Cadia had a free pass on the Execution if they saw demons. They are expected tonfight and die No matter What. They are the last stop before the Eye, so i’d say they DO know Whats up, but Because Cadia is so heavily defended the guardsmen are Not allowed to leave. That Way they Can’t spread the word of demons. Astarties i do Not Think are mind wiped. THEY are the ones who save the Day in the end and the more you know about the enemy, the Better you are able to fight it.

Genaro Blake i’ve heard something about most of the Guardsmen on Krieg are mass produced in some rather suspecious ways, but since they offer millions of Men to the Imperium each year (the only Thing they Can offer the imperium) it’s overlooked. In other words they are Not Really pure humans and more Like flesh robots born and trained to die for the imperium. Think of the Way they fight as World War 1 tactics x1000. I wouldn’t say they are Space Marine materiel, but fanatics ready to make suicidal charges in the name of the Emperor and die in the millions for No gains other than the honor of Death for the Emperor.

A chapter of war loving fanatics always keeping their faces covered? They are already there. We know them as The Sanguine. :) Just kidding. Mathias Hansen is kinda right that Krieg's populus does not lack the zeal for proper astartes. But... I doubt their little nuclear hell hole can provide the purity required for supplying a new chapter with proper recruits. Their polluted homeworld is good for mass producing cheap cannon fodder with the Imperium not asking how they do it as long as they do it. But precious gene seed would be wasted on them would it not? At least if they keep up the high standards for new chapters. But the Imperium has a reputation for doing what's necessary and the goals being more important than the means. So... ..if Krieg can mass produce astartes the way they mass produce guardsmen, the imperium will not care how they do it either. Maybe add some shady rogue trading of gene seed to ambitious Krieg gouvernors authorized by a High Lord who gives a sh*t about standards. Fill the gaps and tell us the story.I would love to hear your lore when it is done.
