Both of my Oklahoma grandmothers were different with desserts my paternal grandmother had desserts like peach and apple cobblers with ice cream, my maternal grandmother it was sweet potato pies, chocolate gravy and carrot cakes, thanks for the delicious memories from the past thank you.😋🍪🥧🍰🧁😋

You baked, baked Alaska. Especially if you lived in Michigan, because Traverse City, Michigan is the pie cherry Capital of the world. I loved baked custard rice pudding, a sprinkle of nutmeg on top. Scotcheroos notches above Marshmallow Treats
