G'Day Marc ! Yep max has a wonderful play ground albeit a hotel room lol , many great features , still don't get the dividers between the uhum shitter n shower , seen many time s b4 with the stones in the shower base ! i thought a good idea as less water runs throughout the bathroom , love those swim up pool bars but only during happy hour lol , any way Catchya ..from Phnom Penh hehehehehe 😁😁😁

Here he is reporting from PP for the first time in a long time! Mate so wrapped you made it back there! Haha anything with a switch is a playground for the young bloke. I think i know what you mean with the rocks actually and it makes sense now I think about it - would just be a pain to clean up....but so is a wet bathroom floor. Agree with the hotel bar prices too - i mean it's nice to sit, relax and sink one at the pool but how but at what pemium?? Hope you are having an absolute ball there mate, chat soon!

Hi mate I stayed here the staff and pool good though I didn't think the hotel was that good, very good location across from Khmer taste one of the few places left with 50c beers

G'day J J! Ah there you go - seems like a few have stayed at this joint. For the location and price we thought it was not bad at all It's like any accomadation though - if you search long enough a deal will pop up of unbelieverble value and once you have had one of those - everything else feels like a bit of a rip. Agree the staff were great and was a top spot too! Cheers mate hope you are well!

G'day Marc! I have been living dangerously by not booking a room for the 29th before the race. Looks like a Jr. suite will cost me $80/night, but they say I get a view of the city. ☺Thanks for the video. Now I know what to expect and it's close to everything. I didn't want to stay at the Tara Angkor again. It's lovely but it's a long trek for morning waffles. Besides, I made a positive comment about the Tara Angkor on Twitter a few years ago. Next thing I know Hun Sen became a follower. 😄 Thanks!

Staff is lovely, restaurant is very nice, and this location is certainly close to everything in town. But the PS music doesn't stop until 3am. 🙉

We actually looked at a place on Sok San to rent but the proximity to late night partying put us off. I mean if it was 10 years ago sure but not now with a little one :D

@MarcsMildlyInteresting Yes. 1. Had my waffles. 2. Traveled 11,000 miles for the race. Even ran 6.5 miles on Friday to prep. Full covid Saturday night. Missed the race. 3. Canceled travel plans for the week and hunkered down at Baby Elephant until Monday. Leaving Monday for PP. Found really good grilled frog at Khmer Grill. So, not a total loss. 😄
