I agree with the falling thing, I find it much easier to build temporary pieces to the height I need and then remove them later. The scaffolding is fine too I just fall off it a lot 😂

One of the best uses I have found for luminous blocks is for easy temporary lighting when building underground or at night. Just place a few down as you go along and remove them when you get the braziers in place.

Before the feathered cape in Valheim, I had 72 deaths in my main compound from falling.. soooo its not just you. It was a pain removing all those markers.

a very small but useful building tip i have is invest in wisp of light potions. they are so useful for building in the dark

To be frank even with small builds it makes more sense to cut out with foundations than to pick axe it all out. Every cellar I build is done that way, I would rather spend ten minutes placing and deleting foundations to get the perfect size than an hour messing about with pick and rake...

Also I uninstalled already a while back so could be wrong but feel like I remember you can clear terrain by just selecting a terrain block and right clicking to *remove* so you don't have to place and delete foundations or whatever. Maybe I'm trippin though
