I just got my first 4S yesterday! It's virtually pristine condition, I'm very pleased it. I wanted one as my iPod Touch 5th gen battery is getting worse and they are difficult to replace, the 4S shares many similarities but the battery is much easier to replace so it makes a great iPod Touch for me, I love the elegant design.

I got my 4s like 8 months ago i was very happy yk there were some games that you could play but in 2023 there were much more games and apps btw. Theres a lego star wars game with a free demo and gta sa which can run on it i bought it for 15$ i wanted to get it since 2019

I recently bought a brand new iPod touch 3 64gb on iOS 3.1.3. I was very surprised the battery actually still holds a charge after 15 years but I always enjoy playing around with old tech and even unboxing some brand new stuff

I remember when these came out as a Fourth Grader, i was mesmerized by it when my cousin had one and i was finally able to buy one years later in 2014 but couldn't downgrade it to ios 5 :( i recently built up a collection of old Apple Products from the Steve Jobs Skeuomorphic era and i just got a Retina MacBook pro with OS Mavericks. Very cool to see you got one in such a mint condition.

The iPhone 4S can't be downgraded to iOS 5, but it can be downgraded to iOS 6.

@@Mshi- Yep. It requires a Mac or a Linux machine and a tool called Legacy iOS Kit. The process is quite easy, and I've used it to downgrade an iPad Mini to iOS 8 and an iPad Air to iOS 10.

My guess is that a business had a contract with sprint. Someone damaged there phone so sprint sent out a replacement. When the iPhone 5 came out, the whole company upgraded, and this sat unused in a storage room somewhere.

Iphone 4s can be sold as low as $30! It's wild how cheap you can get an older iphone for. I would've expected it to go up in value. Even if Apple doesn't support it rn.

Has somebody tried to use iCloud on an iOS or earlier device recently? I was unable to sign in, or use iMessage or FaceTime. On top of that recently Apple announced iCloud backups would be going away for older devices soon, so I wonder if iCloud doesn’t work anymore. Can somebody with an older device try this?

I got an iPhone 4 on ebay that was carrier locked to sprint and it is a cdma iPhone 4 which means it doesnt have a sim tray so I want to jail break it to see if theres a jailbreak to unlock iPhones (if someone wondering what iOS it is on it is on the most recent iOS supported by the iPhone 4 which is 7.1.2)

My dad lost his iPhone 12 Pro on the train,so he got a 13 pro, but then apple told him he could get it replaced for free, so he did that, but after that, the train company found his phone, so he had a used 12 pro, a almost new 13 pro, and a brand new 12 pro, so maybe that’s what happened
