My amazing adventure on the Buffalo River in Arkansas. Travis Henry, Justin Wolfe, Travis's dad Major and myself went 40 miles on this river living out of our kayaks. It was a life changing experience for sure!! I do not own any part of the music in this video. It is title "When The Stars Come Out" and is written and sung by Chris Stapleton

Fun, seeing your reaction to Big Bluff and Hemmed In Hollow. They don't seem real the first time you see them; you don't expect them. Great video.

Always assumed you were local to the area? You guys traveling that far to float the buffalo really puts things in perspective.

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun! Be sure to go back. You guys missed a lot.. Doesn't seem like 40 miles, where did you put in and get out? We hike here very often and everything I see in this video is within the first 14miles between ponca and kyles landing?FYI, there is no music in this video :P

We have gone back every year since this trip 4 years ago, it’s our favorite! We now do all 130 miles to the white river from Ponca. Headed out at the end of this month for this year’s trip. This was our first year to do it, we put in at Ponca and got out at Mt. Hershey. Just because I didn’t film every thing doesn’t mean we didn’t do more and or go further than what you saw.

Also I am doing YT for fun and am not a professional, so music shouldn’t be demanded from someone like me. Sorry if I disappointed you but these video are for myself and friends/family not for movie theaters.

Nice! For a one night trip from ponco what would be a good ending point? Kyles landing? Would like to get 20 miles a day self shuttling...

Ponca to Kyles is only about a 5 or 6hr float," IF" you take your time.

It looks like yall had a blast and Travis is killing me with his laughing. Next summer we are going down to Swamp Base and doing a 60 miles trip with the Boy Scouts.

Did your rig have foot peddles or did you guys just paddle ?
@TheBeardedBurton

We all just paddled man, I have the option to on mine but it's just a lot of work. If the water is moving quick enough I prefer no pedals. Thanks for watching!

Was that a Duluth pack or something similar I saw on your kayak? If so, how'd it do in the wet conditions?
@TheBeardedBurton

+Brennan Stebbins yes it was the frost river isle royale full size one. It was a test for me to how well it would do. While it held its on and fair share, the leather on it turned to wet noodles lol. Definitely won't take it again, I go with a dry bag back pack now.
