The 1% of rich Americans think of how to invest their money to increase their wealth during the recession. While the 99% of struggling hard-luck Americans think of how to survive without food and daily necessities in the recession and the coming hyperinflation. But throwing someone in jail for something miniscule isnt really the answer either. We've already tried that. The powers that shouldnt be caused all of this chaos.
@American-Motors-Corporation3 ай бұрын
Well that's not the real reason they are closing the stores I can tell you that yes theft is detrimental yes there has been some locations that you really could say cause a closure however this is not every store that they are closing theft so it's detrimental to the industry I should know my ears business and retail management experience but I can say it is not the root cause of all other problems. Basically the main two causes of their problems stem from the fact that they all took on mass amounts of debt for the past 18 to 20 years those bills are coming due they can't pay them they're having to close locations as a means of shoring of losses but of course there's flying under stuff to do it it's a way to explain it a way to the population that they are cash strapped without admitting that they are cash-strapped. Another sub purpose of them flying under this as well typically it covers up for any bad business decisions that they the executives made so they just blame everything on theft and you Johnny Q idiot public eats it up. The second root cause of their problems is simply there's an income deficiency across the population that's getting worse and worse every month every year okay and we've been on that trajectory for a very long time well with their dads if their customer base is going broke the customer base isn't buying very much meaning the customers aren't able to pay the stores bills. The entire industry is basically it contraction when you get it down turn this is what happens here's the problem you also have to realize that most of these companies particularly have a big box arena overbuilt they build out for a time that no longer exists and they thought at the time that they were doing that it was just going to expand even further well that didn't happen that future never arrived so they're happy to close a lot of locations they're half of the shore up their loss since this also means that they're closing distribution centers a lot of these companies Walmart included will most likely pull out of areas if not regions. But of course they're going to continuously sell it to you that it's all about theft just like last decade when they blamed the internet.
@American-Motors-Corporation3 ай бұрын
Well actually most retailers allowed this problem to Fester, I have over 20 years retail business experience and I can tell you that most stores even right down to a CVS pharmacy would straight up tell you that if you witness shoplifting you do not call the police don't bother the police that's been most company policy for well over 20 years. Of course part of this is the police themselves didn't really think that it was a priority and many respects it's kind of not compared to a lot of the calls that they get. Yeah I mean you know like if you go back and you want to look through the data you will find that you do get months you do get here if not even a decade or two where something like theft will Spike but then if you dive in deeper you break it down to area to area region the region perhaps even City compared to City you'll find that this has come and gone before you will find that it's perhaps not as bad as these companies make it out to be it's still serious I mean theft definitely is detrimental to the industry I mean with my experience I know that I can't deny it but I am here to basically state most of it comes down to the fact that these companies have run themselves into a ditch with debt while at the same time their customer base is going broke there's an income deficiency across the populations this means that all retailers are contracting the industry as a whole is falling back. You also have to understand that a lot of store locations that they close it's not really about theft at all and it's not even really about the store being unprofitable you have to understand that a lot of those locations are indeed profitable but what happens is the executive set unrealistic goals they say that they want to see for example $10 million dollars in profit by the end of the year well store may only generate 8 or 9 million dollars in profit after all the bills are paid well then the executive say we're taking our ball and we're going home because boo who we did get the fucking number we wanted so they're literally willing to throw away the potential to make another 8 or 9 million dollars a year simply because it didn't reach the 10 million dollar goals that they had set. And also I will say that most of these closures particularly for the scenario that I had just laid out when a company decides to hone in on a location conduct study of that location and then they give the management x amount of time to do the turnaround this stuff is planned for 5 years in advance before the closer this is not something that they had around table last Monday that they're going to execute on Friday these companies do not make decisions that quickly so if you see one of these locations that close no matter if they're up there babbling about theft keep in mind that roughly 4 years ago they already had it on the topic block they already gave the store management the warning that it was going to close if they didn't see the numbers they wanted to see.

The pandemic of greed in our country is just not sustainable. The trillionaires are getting wealthyer while the sinking midddle class is struggleing to exist. Why? Because of prices going up, to feed the wealthy more wealth, and give the poor and dwindling midddle class less and less for their money. A large portion of working amerians now have monthy bills that exceed their monthly take home pay. This is not sustainable. We cannot have a large portion of our population unable to pay their bills. Meanwwhile, crime in large cities has forced businesses to move or close. We can condem crime but some of it is obviously occurs so that people can buy their next meal. Our countries leadership from the president down to the local school board members, have deserted the hard working honest americans while they feed the greed of the rich. That has got to change and change quickly before violent riots start ocurring with normally lawabiding citizens demanding and a fair way to survive and care for their families needs. Keep in mind that a father of hungry children will do what ever it takes to feed those children.

Greed is one of the seven deadly sins and it has taken over. Anyone middle class or below who has ever made fun of a poor person is probably going to get their day of knowing what it feels like and what they go through. People have been feeding the rich man for decades giving them luxurious lives the system has always been setup to keep the rich rich and the poor poor and now your either one or the other either your rich or your poor there is no middle class anymore. Everything has always been overpriced and the people just let it by saying it is what it is and so the greedy have taken over now. Which is expected if a theif gets away with stealing all the time then why would he stop? He wouldn't he would only start taking more and more.

Living rural our electricity bill could hit 300-400 a month before all this craziness started. We only cool one room with a window ac unit no more dryer we hang dry clothes now it's helped a lot the central ac and heat was the biggest electricity hog its helped a lot to not run it anymore
@katiejo7113 ай бұрын
The first thing I did when we moved into our home was had my husband put clothes lines in. I hang all my clothes out until it gets way too cold. I have a clothing rack in the closet that I hang most of my clothes and I only use the dryer first small items or need to refluff the clothes

All of our Mexican gangs have ties to the Mexican Cartels. If YOU want to move to Mexico, you are free to.

Hey everyone. I know times are rough and it's nice to have the AC on but I think it may be time to go without the AC. When I was a kid, not that long ago, we didn't have an AC unit. My mom worked at Kmart and we barely scraped by. Having a box fan was what we used to stay cool. My friends and I would gather at one of our friends house that had a blow up swimming pool. When you grow up in a manufactured home park (not trailers. they didn't have wheels or hitches) having a pool of any kind is a big deal. If we weren't in the pool, we were under the shade of the big tree nearby. None of us were rich even though some got an iPod for Christmas. We didn't have AC and we still managed to stay cooler with a fan than with no fan. I think back to this and I ended up ditching the AC, but not entirely. I still use it in Dry mode to keep the humidity out of the air and the Eco mode helps a bit. The living space I'm in stays around 75 and I have a fan on at night time. It's reduced the bill quite a bit. Another thing we lacked when I was young was a dryer. We hung our clothes out on the line and let the sun do its thing for free. A couple months ago, I had some holes drilled and some posts put in and installed my own clothes line. It only fell over once so far but I fixed that. This helped tremendously with the electric bill. I had to replace my water heater at one point. The old one just couldn't continue anymore. So I got a smart one. I did this so I could schedule when it goes on and off. My mom used to do something similar to save on electric. When I was younger, we had to turn on the breaker for the water heater, wait around 20 minutes and then could take a shower. When everyone was done with the hot water, we turned it off. I am doing the same thing but it's automatic this time and it has sensors to tell me if something is wrong so I won't have to replace the unit for a long time. It costs more up front but it will save so much in the long run. I really hope this helps someone out there. I grew up kinda poor and I know a few tricks and have had to use a few of them already. Eating peanut butter straight from the jar was my snack of choice when I got home from school. It is filling and cheap when compared to other snacks or foods. Ramen noodles were a common favorite among me and my friends. I look back at these memories and I feel like having very little prepared me for the hard economic times we have now. That's more useful than anything I could have learned in school. If you have more tips and tricks on how to save or grew up without much, definitely respond with those. I hope this helps people get through these tough times.

Senior Living apartments and premanufactured homes communities typically start at age 55. Air conditioning is nice, but not necessary. Placing a tray (or bowl) of ice cubes in front of a fan works, as does placing a damp towel over a fan. It won't get Arctic cold, but it makes things bearable. In the USA, we have food banks and for people ages 16 to 24, there is Job Corps. There s also military service. Cooking at home saves lots of money, as does paking lunches for school/work. Cookies for snacks, beans and rice for meals. Pizza is easy to make too.

@American-Motors-Corporation3 ай бұрын
Well I don't really hate it I am not a baby boomer but is it the reason I don't care for it is because it's false. I mean if you really think about it there really was no such thing as a baby but their parents is generation 7 to 12 kids 7th 13 kids even was common five to seven kids was considered about a medium sized family if not even in some parts considered on the small side of family and farther back in time you go. So explain to me where the babyboom was? Yeah I know what the Fable is the Fable is everybody coming back for fuck the shit out of their wives and then you ended up with all these babies all the sudden. Well sure some of that happened but I guess if you want to look at it in terms of population well they basically just replaced those who died during the war there really was no baby-boom.
