Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. Perhaps you should consider a similar approach.

@langhamp89124 ай бұрын
The economy is indeed booming if you look as consumerism and income as a metric. And if you were to remove housing and transportation (97% of US commuters use cars) then the inflation would be considerably lower than wage gains. Thus, using credit cards to pay for basics is the cost when you center your lifestyle around the suburban home and the automobile. Fix that with more compact housing and public transportation, and you've almost solved this problem.

We can’t just print money. We have to sell our treasury bonds to willing buyers, then we can print money. Even through all of the quantitative easing, we were still able to sell the bonds to back that currency. Since 1/6 no one wants to buy our bonds anymore. If 1/6 had been successful in overthrowing the government then every single U.S. treasury bond would have gone to zero. Just the amount of U.S. debt dumped by countries around the world immediately after 1/6 caused the BOE and the ECB to set unlimited debt buying policies. That kept the dollar from going to zero. No ones buying, it’s a bad risk. Because the world knows that the day the United States is no longer a democracy, that’s the day the dollar goes to zero. The Democratic government that issued those bonds would no longer exist and the new autocratic government would have no obligation whatsoever, to honor those securities.

I have a 30 years fixed mtg loan at 2.7% and have cash in the account to cover that loan! The cash is collecting 5 % interest, practically covers the mtg for me! I am keeping the cash as long as it is collecting interest for me!

I’m currently doing ok. However, I’m working like 60-70 hours a week. Recently married, & scared to bring a child into this world . Knowing I wouldn’t have much of a part to play raising a kid besides living at work. Just a regular 40 hours, I’d be racking up credit card debt. Ngl, living abroad is an option for us if things don’t get better .
@user-ms3ko5gn8e4 ай бұрын
I have 3 kids. I have always wanted to be a mother. People always think there is never time or money to have kids, but you make it work once you have them. They really don't need all the fancy new things. Home cooked meals & gardening save money. They need you to be a good role model and be there for them.

If you aren't old you won't remember this. Back in the 1970s under Jimmy Carter inflation was worse than today. I had a CD which paid 14 percent. Food was expensive. A man named Ralph Nader was a consumer advocate. He succeeded in getting corporations to print on their products "this item contains (oz.or %) less product than previously." I don't know if he did it by force of law or just shaming companies to admit that they were ripping offf the consumer. This didn't last long. I remember buying a large bag of M&M s which stated on the package that it had less in it than previouly. We need this today. Not that any companies would have shame!

Today is way worse, in the 70s...the US dollar still had value. No comparison
@gabrielmoody17084 ай бұрын
I remember! Even in the 60's food was expensive! My mother would send each of us 10 kids separately to the store to get eggs, butter when they were on sale 2 per family! Meals were home cooked, eating out was for a special occasion if at all, and yes Ralph Nader and Consumer Reports kept people informed about corporate dirty deeds! Today people buy all manner of crap because it's cheap no matter what cost to themselves or the environment, processed, poisonous food products everywhere along with obesity, massive levels of debt and on and on! This is just the beginning!

At 9:25, the bankruptcy debtor was complaining that if he worked more than 40 hours per week, he actually had to put that money toward his debts? Good grief man, just pay your debts! Be happy you can make right on them a bit by working a little harder. Sounds like this guy was really upset with having to pay off his debts!

I’d say stop paying your credit cards let all the credit card companies erupt besides your credit score is already ruined there ain’t no coming back from that once they go bankrupt you don’t have to pay anything at all and that’s what you call debt forgiveness 😂😂😂
