Top tip for levelling dexterity: it's actually calculated using the cutting damage of your weapon. So if you get a heavy weapon with a higher proportion of cutting damage you can level strength and dexterity at the same time.

One thing to bear in mind with heavy weapons (if you don't already know, maybe it'll help some of you viewers), is that you run into a strength penalty with them. If your weapon deals any amount of blunt damage, then you need a strength level of 40 times the blunt damage in order to swing them without speed penalty. The catan 3 fragment axe our boy buys at the beginning of the episode deals 1.73 blunt damage, so he needs 40x1.73 ~ 70 strength to swing that bad boy around without penalty. That's why he swings so slowly with it afterwards. If you have a weapon without blunt damage, then the required strength is 2 times the weight of the item, but that doesn't tend to be much of an issue. Swinging around a weapon that's too heavy for you also trains up your strength pretty well, so being a little whimp is a problem that fixes itself in time. The Fragment axe is the heaviest of the heavy weapons, though, so be aware that if you get to the highest few tiers of Fragment Axes, they'll be too heavy for even the strongest character to swing without penalty unless you have some hefty robot arms. The other heavy weapons don't have this issue, so you can always jump to them. (Also, be aware that damage you take can reduce your effective strength level, so it's possible to take enough damage and reduce your strength enough that you can't swing as quickly. In fact, with the highest level Fragment axe, the required strength is so high that effectively any damage will drop you below the required strength.)

I had first seen one of his earlier Rimworld play-throughs and was when I subbed. In a couple of more recent videos (not sure which ones) I had found myself slightly annoyed when he may have been interacting with his Discord/Twitch and the humor just wasn't there for an edited video. It's not enough to keep me away or to dislike, just pointing it out as an observation and I may not be the only one. It's one of them legendary Jade Cups that absorb the wine. It's a legendary artifact, known as the void cup. It also goes under the moniker thirstbringer, as one can never drink from it. It's one of the best cups to use while having drinking contests, as you fill it and before you've even brought it to your lips, it's dry. It's made from Golden Sand Jade and Earth Fire Jade, or at least the cheaper versions are, however Golden Crow Jade is one of the best materials for making the cup. And frankly if you want a wooden cup instead of a jade cup, then the wood from a Sun Fruit Tree, works extremely well.

If you want to get extra strength for using heavy weapons, you can use Industrial lifter arms instead of KLR arms. The lifter arms have less health, but give a lot more strength (I think like 25% per arm) compared to the KLR arms.

When you collect a bounty, literally go stealth and break them back out, then turn em in again once the "committing a crime" timer is up. As long as not detected can do this infinitely and get the same reward for the bounty each time. You can also do this with yourself, by getting a bounty, breaking out, then getting caught and put back again and rinsing and repeating. But to collect bounty on yourself you need another character to turn you in lol so that one doesn't quite work. But yeah can definitely do it to the enemy bounty targets xD cause turning in the bounty doesn't remove it lol. Very cheese way of getting infinitely rich as long as you're good at stealth and lockpicking.

Heavy armor is the best accompanyment for strength training, since all that weight they take up helps protect you. Less wounds mean you can fight longer with a higher strength 💪 Higher strength means you can fight longer w heavy weapons wich base most of their speed off your strength.

The higher quality the heavy weapon, the thiccer it is. Sometimes using the *heavy* heavy weapons will feel like you're trying to hit your enemies with a lead parachute due to the exponential increase in strength requirements. Also you gain experience per hit so will gain more using a lighter weapon.

There's a mod called "Scar's pathfinding fix" that can improve pathfinding for everyone including you. It's not entirely compatible with heavy overhaul mods that add races and new factions but it'll work for vanilla and doesn't require an import.

If you want to fix the building menu, when you are importing your save you need to uncheck the import research one. By default its set to import what you currently have unlocked (which is set by the mod at the start). Unchecking it will return it to a default start which will give you the research bench, bedroll, campfire etc.. hope that helps!

Mr. Amphibian. If you go to the swamp villages and Shark, you can buy Hashish. A full TRADERS backpack might cost near 10k ish? Then you can auto-run with your scout legs to the flats lagoon and sell the contents of the traders backpack for about 70k. Takes about 10 irl minutes each run :)

For a while, I was bored of my first playthrough of Kenshi. After watching the first few episodes of this series, I've decided to try out a "solo" playthrough of Kenshi with the Legendary Sword start, as I do not have the Torso mod installed. I also turned up the population to 4x the amount, because I wanted my character to fight more. 3 real life days (in game it's around 90 days) after I started this playthrough, along with an incident where my legendary sword got stolen by a Dust Boss (he hit my character a few times with it. Managed to get it back with a lucky *THONK*), my character now has 89 Toughness from being beaten up by Dust Bandits. And that's just outside of the Hub! Thank you ambiguousamphibian for your delightful series! EDIT: I am also doing a challenge on my second playthrough, where I cannot build a base, and cannot do any form of labour at all. Which means I need to find Raw Iron elsewhere, as I cannot mine anything at all.

You can auto-train your STR at the Hub my friend. Add a mining order for copper, there's a node outside the wall, pass the Shinobi tower. Then position your men at the west gate out of the Hub and enact the order. They will start running towards that node, on the outside, but they'll turn back half way and make it back to the gate. Rinse and repeat. Trained my squad there, all of them carrying wooden backpacks and bodies on their shoulders.

The more heavy'r a weapon in Kenshi, the slower it will swing if u dont have a high enough strenght. This will effect how fast u can block melee attacks and how fast u can swing to beat the enemys block chance. U need way more strength then u have now for that fragment axe. I would get the Strength arms also.
