I remember this! I totally forgot they made this video! I was a paladin named Briteheart back then! I'm to the left of the dwarven paladin at 2:03. Scarlet Crusade was my first server as well as an RP server back in the day. Man, this brings back memories. Back when WoW was a blast. I was in this video at the age of 16, at 1:54, first Paladin on the immediate left, Gravandire . Banana shoulders T1; Had the finkle 2h hammer weapon from MC. Makes me feel the old days of WoW. Monster energy drinks, late nights of Molten Core 40man, server crashes constantly. Other kids went outside and did shit, but this, I was doing this. So weird looking back from 27 and shit is on the internet still. Scarlet Crusade bebeh!

I've never seen anything like this in game but back before flying mounts in Azeroth there were many events being held out in the world. People aren't lying when they say flying killed wpvp.

klavier285 I played on Magtheridon US during vanilla. If anything killed World PVP it was the introduction of Warsong Gulch, then Arathi Basin and Alterac Valley. The only WPVP you'd see after their introduction was in Blackrock Mountain. Eastern Plaguelands? Quiet. Tarren Mill/South Shore? Dead.

WPvP was all over the place even with wsg etc. SW would get raided by horde and we would do the same to org. Southshore dead? Hahaha you're funny.

Dekoyz08 You think US-Magtheridon wasn't one of the tops? We had a 6 to 1 Alliance to Horde ratio at the best times, 8 to 1 at prime time and Horde dominated in PVP. I understand that server to server may vary, but for the most part, WSG killed WPVP on many servers. There was always BRM for massive raids WPVPing, and the occasional city raid, but please take off the rose colored glasses. The forums were full with tears over BGs killing WPVP during that time

Dopplganger You act like Blackrock pvp was marginal..the best fights happened there, guilds clashed all the time when trying to enter BWL and MC. Not to mention fights at AQ and all over silithus. Hell, world pvp in eastern plague lands got so out hand with the Argent dawn event Blizz added more guards and caused them to defend players at the chapel. Also dragons and kazzak. Anytime a town was attacked people would show up, BGs may have reduced this but not entirely.

Remeber being there, i went to thunder bluff because there was always acouple alliance fighting on the elevator. Seen in the world defemse channel mulgore was getting attacked. And when i phased in people were talking about the set up in general chat. My computer was awful and i only got to expereience a handful of frames. But the initial charge is still there in my head. Good times :)

I remember being there! Mutumbo and Suncobra doing good bodyguard work as usual. I remember how laggy it was and how we managed to crash the servers. Most of the Shamans died due to the consecration still being on the ground when they DC'd. I wonder what the fight would have been like if the server was stable.
