18. "the smallest number of sock you need to take (blindly) to be sure of having a matching pair." If you take out two socks, you cannot be sure that you have a matching pair. Two is the smallest number of socks you need to take out to get a matching pair, but that's not the question. The premise is that you're blind and need "to be sure" that you have a matching pair (without seeing them). So that answer is factually and inarguably three. And hearing this guy say "you're wrong" just kind of pisses me off... I absolutely love logic problems, but too many of these questions are stupid language games that a) have nothing to do with logic, b) tend to ignore how language is practically used (i.e. not like a robot), and/or c) sets out to trip us up but in doing so ends up making an erroneous conclusion. I'm not saying all of these questions or even most of these questions are like that. But in my mind, more than one or two is too many. Read the comments and you'll see that it's too many. Then again, I don't mean to take out on this guy; I doubt he made any of the questions/answers himself. But if a company asks me the sock question in an interview and tells me the answer is two, I'm walking out of there, cause I can do better than that company.

I’m thinking that he got the question right and the answer wrong, like he did for the “no one understands” one, and a few others. The puzzle number 2, which is about the number of the days in a month, always made me think. How do generally people respond to the questions that contain numbers? It may be a TV show question ('Weakest link' or smth), but it may be just casual life. E.g. "What vehicle has two wheels?" or "Who has six legs?" Well, a normal passenger car has 4 wheels, and a truck/trailer can have more. A spider has 8 legs, and a centipede has much more. But since the correct answer for the question "Which (or how many) months have 28 days?" is "all of them (all twelve)", then the truck and the centipede must qualify as totally correct answers for my suggested 1st and 2nd questions respectively.

Some errors here... Qu.18: solution is 3 not and never 2. Two can only be oké by a lucky guess and that's not what the question says. How many socks....to be SURE....By taking 2 you can't be SURE, never never. #24: "hang me" is not really a lie or a true statement, it's a command. Better was that he says "I always lie" this statement is a paradox if you think about it. It's no lie or a true statement. #26: the answer is soooo wrong because he starts with 2 chickens and the boot can only take one.... come on...

Alternative answer: Put the 3 liter bucket into the 5 liter bucket and fill up the 5 liter bucket (which can contain 2 liters surrounding the 3 liter bucket). Pour those 2 liters into the 3 liter bucket. Put the 3 liter bucket back into the 5 liter bucket and fill it to the top again. Now each bucket has 2 liters. Pour the 2 liters from the 3 liter bucket into the 5 liter bucket.

The answer to question 18 is 3, not 2. A pair would be the same color and while you COULD get a pair of socks picking 2 individual socks, you would need to pick 3 socks to be SURE you got a pair as the question states.

Please correct the answer for Q.no 26 as you are allowed to take only one animal. So, i) first take the fox and drop on other side then come alone. ii) take one chicken and go to the other side and exchange fox and chicken and take the fox back to this side. iii) again exchange fox and chicken and take the other chicken to the other side and come back to this side alone. (Now you have two chickens on the other side and fox on this side and you came to this side) iv) Finally take the fox and go to the other side and enjoy your life with the fox and the chickens. 😄

NO 28 is right.. take a fully filled waterbottle and keep it in freezer.. After full freezing, does the ice comes out of the bottle.. no.. do we get half bottle filled with ice.. no.. Though Water and Ice have different density, volume remains same.
