I disagree with putting Momonosuke in the category of most potential, I think that Jewelry Bonney holds that title currently since- SPOILERS Bonney became a member of the Worst Generation at the age of 10, and has a starting bounty higher than Kaido, currently she’s only 12, pairing up with a devil fruit that can seemingly mimic other’s ability, as well as currently the next straw hat candidate. She seems to have more potential then Momonosuke whom has 20 years worth of experiences rip out of him.

Personally, I think the best logia is the gas-gas fruit because Caesar showed that it has power over all kinds of gases, so if you have a strong knowledge of chemistry, you can do a lot better than he did. And I don't blame Oda for not researching a difficult branch of science in painful depth, but realistically, Caesar could solo everyone we've seen set foot on Punk Hazard, with the possible exceptions of Aokiji and Akainu, because of his scientific knowledge and the vast potential of chemistry.
