Sam is looking good mate. Good to see Aliha (Hope I spelt that correct) getting involved. When is the LX going to get started on and how's Jacks truck going.

@kenwhite9223 Thanks mate, yes Aliyah has been very involved in this build and is very keen to get it finished. Jack truck will get focus before the LX.

I'm waiting to restore my 64 FJ40 because I don't have a shop yet. I'll most likely be breaking ground on my shop in July I think but that depends on the economy. Then I'm going to restore it. Love what you do. You've taught me a lot and you make it look easy. I've never restored a vehicle before or have really worked on one before. I'm a carpenter but now I'm keen on getting my Toyota up and running and think that I can do it after watching your videos. Could you put together a list of all the parts that you have installed on it rather than me going back over all the videos again? My FJ40 hasn't run in like 20 years. It's all original and everything needs to be gone through like yours. I'll be building my shop all by myself and without hired help to keep the cost down. It will be a post frame construction like RR Buildings dream shop build on KZbin.

@Rob-r2s G'day Rob. Thank you so much for your kind words, and it's fantastic to hear that the channel is helping people like yourself to take on awesome projects and bring old Landcruisers back to life. I think it would be a good idea to do a video on parts used and where I was able to acquire them so that everyone can benefit, as you are not the first to ask this question. Thanks for the idea. Where are you located?

@@40ChannelCruiser I live in Washington state, USA. I'm out in the country away from the city. Yes, a video with a printed list of where I can get those parts would be really good. I need the carburetor and that metal curved hose that goes to the radiator as well as many other parts that you've mentioned. Maybe you could post that list that we can print out at the bottom of each video for each vehicle you've worked on and you could always add to that list as a running total of parts or something like that. That way when I'm ready to finally restore my ride, it will be a supper easy reference. If you did a video about it than it would be just another video and would be difficult to find.

So with the dials out why didnt you add markers on the speedo for KMH? Surely there is a stick on decal for that?
@40ChannelCruiser8 күн бұрын
@AdelaideInvigilation I wanted to keep an original look. This will not be a daily driver. But it would be a great idea, you could swap for a later speedo or yes you can buy decals from the States.
