40 Telluric pearls and an INCREDIBLE Elder Rift Run

Nearly all of my best Legendary Gems came from Elder Rift runs using no more than three Legendary Crests, no crests added under the Add 7 option. After 18 months of frustration grinding and Elder Rift runs as a low-spend 'Dolphin,' I was consistently getting mostly 1- and 2-star Legendary Gems regardless of the quantity of crests I used. Surprisingly, I finally acquired back-to-back 5-out-of-5-star Starfire Legendary gems exactly one week apart. Shortly after that I received a 4-star Seeping Bile and a 4-star Blessing of Worthy, all using no more than 3 Legendary Crests at a time. (I started to wonder if Blizzard tweaked the algorithm, but it doesn't look like they did.) The only reason I add 7 Rare Crests to the Add 7 box is to get the 31 AST Runes per Rift run to assist with crafting 2-star Legendary Gems.

I think blizzard should give a 3/4 out of five star gem from collecting 40 tp. TP are harder to collect without much buying it...

This is true but also by design. Personally I just use any gems from TP to rank up 5 stars I already have.

Advice to new players..please don't get sucked into buying gems or orbs in this game. Once you get 'hooked' like a fish you will struggle to get free and end up spending money and getting very, very, very little for it.

@@ECHOGamingDiablo Fair. But how long did it take to collect those pearls? Just to see the EXACT one you crafted drop on the next rift? Which could’ve been run PRIOR to the crafting. All I’m saying is use your resources efficiently and effectively. Maybe those 40 pearls you’ve grinded for could’ve been saved or went elsewhere. Idk your gem progression enough to make the call. GG ECHO, I’m a fan regardless

@@DaGreatGatsby123 they’re extremely valuable. So I’m saying run out every option before this. Especially given the time waited to acquire them that ECHO is saying. It’s definitely the east route, but make sure it’s the wisest. Case in point…he got the BSJ after realizing he could craft a crest AFTER using the pearls. I would’ve ran the crest first. He didn’t realize he could do it. Poor awareness of resources? Idk. For F2P resources are everything.

@@EightTwoTwo ijs. It’s like looking for secondary gear drops while hoarding enough essence frags to craft one. Ppl just hoard shit to do it. I’ve seen thousands of accounts that has enough to level they gear ten levels at least and they still hoarding it like the apocalypse is coming

Just dropped a gloom cask do mines gone to r3. So my pearls shifted to a r3 phoenix ashes. Iv 22 if a pa drops it'll go to next. Nothing a waste in this game lol.

He used to have more 5 stars but came to the conclusion that he'd rather max out 1 and 2 star gems to awaken them for the damage/skill bonus. He doesn't care about pvp and resonance and is a light spender. Realistically only the biggest whales can unlock 5 star gems to rank 10 and the amount of money required to do so is not worth it to the vast majority of players.
