That’s unfortunate now that I’ve seen the build up to that moment to have a figure that you can’t really review due to QC problems. Not a good look for the brand, or the factory this figure was assembled at. Huge huge misses there.

I understand it’s a horrible design that they won’t be able to reuse in the comic line so Hasbro you have reached a problem the designs aren’t interesting enough to sell as MCU and they are too complex and detailed to reuse in the comic line. So go all out why not use the MCU line to experiment with the body buck and find new cheaper and more toyetic ways of approaching the MCU figures because this isn’t working. There’s zero appeal so why not make them appeal to other lines if the articulation is more in line with classified I think the figures won’t inevitably sit in clearance for ever.

Damn. That is a sucky thing to happen, but it's funny how Has-Blo has a way with being selective with who designs their figures. Every so often the Classified line gets a Covergirl with QC issues, and more often than not the Marvel Legends gets something like THIS, (Popeye arms Avengers Hulk, Siren without a Screaming head, First Ten Years Black Widow that you have to figure kitbash with the Infinity War Black Widow in order to get poseability and function, and Emma Frost White Queen 2024 release where you have to custom cape the figure to get her to work her arms mobility), where the accessory that is part of the costume gets in the way of the figure being functional. They need to downgrade some people who are designing these figures . . .

I'm not surprised... With the way that Disney had been losing money and thus Hasbro losing it as well, I really don't see either of them really putting much care into any of their shared products. Gi Joe makes money for Hasbro so they're better, Disney is tanking the company so they're cutting corners when they can. I'd just shave away some of the pegs or the wing holes and just call it a day... No point in dealing with Hasbro

Well Disney has nothing to do with how Hasbro makes the figures QC wise. Marvel Legends has beed knocking figures out of the park, but this is disappointing for sure

@Apunkwithtoys I know that they don't directly have anything to do with it, but because of all the garbage they have been pumping out over the last few years, it's been costing all of their license holders to lose money and they have had to cut corners to save money... Which is why in part I'm sure they've had to have massive layoffs in recent years. Anyway, it is a massive disappointment and I'm sorry that you're having to deal with that. You and I had the same exact idea of incorporating that figure into our Gi Joe lineup and after seeing your review, I've changed my mind and would rather consider buying a set of Raptor wings on ebay and doing some customizing to them and a figure rather than get that POS. I hope you're able to find a solution.

I don't think Marvel Legends are supposed to be compatible (or comparable) to the classified line. If you look at the Infinity Sage Black Widow figure, her hands are also so poorly sculpted that she cannot even hold the pistols properly.

They’re different lines from 2 different properties, but it doesn’t change the fact that the wings won’t stay on. I was gonna compare them to see which wings are better, and the brand manager of Marvel Legends said he would put these up against the Joe’s, so I would say they are comparable.
