The way ormonde Jayne has a hold on me is insane! I’m in love with Vanille De afriques but I only have a travel right now and that price tag hurts for a full bottle. And at some stage I really had this “oh yes, this is an Ormonde Jayne” feeling. We’ll see 😂. Out of the three I had on my arms my teenage son liked this the most, whatever that means 😂

Vanilla , merci pour les explications, je comprend mieux pourquoi la vanille est parfois sucré alors que pour moi pas du tout , venant de la réunion j’ai l’habitude de sentir les extraits de vanille bourbon lol, maintenant je sais c’est la différence entre vanille et vanilline 😊. Comptoir du pacifique fait de belles vanilles notamment comme la bourbon 😊, ultra simple mais qui me rappelle tant de souvenirs!

A single note series like this would be wonderful! Explaining the production or chemistry of the note and then listing your favorite fragrances that highlight that note is a really helpful combo. Also, I’ve read that “bourbon vanilla” actually refers to Madagascar vanilla. Do you know if that’s true?

I did some videos like that in the past but I’m for sure planning more thanks for suggesting! And as for the vanilla you’re 100% right ! I was referring to the reunion vanilla being the original bourbon vanilla (where it’s originally coming from) , locations can make the smell different and I should have precised that !! Vanilla! I think my fave vanilla in my collection (although there are many that I love) is Lune Feline. Also, have you tried Spice D’Arno from Electimuss? I am obsessed with the decant I have - it’s super vanilla-forward on me but I’m wondering if that’s because I’m using the decant rather than spraying from the full bottle…

Vanilla! Vanilla is my best note, it seems - a huge amount of my most complimented fragrances contain a prominent vanilla. It was pointed out to me by a brand sales manager, a very masculine gay man who was flirting with me 😂 a first 😆 I needed Material, I tried it out at Neiman Marcus in Boston once, and a woman came up to me and said she needed to know what I was wearing 😅 vanilla!
