VERY NICE BUILDS on these two trucks, Joe. For all you model builders/collectors, if you want to learn new building tips on your trucks, all you need to do is buy one of Joe's model trucks off of eBay and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. everything is there from plumbing of the brakes and airlines on the firewall to the chain hanger for the air horn. Now that is old school building there!!!! Joe does not miss a beat when it comes to building his model trucks and trailers. He custom built me a truck/trailer and I am still BLOWN AWAY!!!! So all you collectors be sure to check him out on eBay.

Amazing....as a former driver, I also enjoy building these kits. I have the 925 that I remember my uncle building when I was about 3. My intent is to replicate it as best I can. Thank you for sharing

Thank you very much Richard, I enjoy building these trucks as much as I did driving 40+ years, now that I'm freshly retired, I can build away lol.

Magnificent build ! I am currently building this kit . Original issue and I am running into problem concerning front engine mount . Directions show front of oil pan and to underside of plate . Doing this would require cutting of pan as it runs all way under front plate . If you receive this , please kindly reply . Thanks .

I am curious as to how you've solved this issue. I'm gonna be starting this kit soon. Let me know if you don't mind, thanx

Nice clean build, sir. The details are so fresh and crisp that I almost thought this was a 1/16th scale model, but if I’m right, this is the AMT 1/25th scale KW, correct? Either way, it’s an amazing example of attention to detail, and precision finishing. I’m starting two separate 1/25th scale W900 tractor/trailer builds soon, and you’ve definitely raised the bar for my own goals. Thanks for sharing.

Funny story behind this build is when I did this, I had this original issue kit and decided to go for it, so I spent money on Tamiya vynal tape and did tons of research, bought the real auto finishes and went to town, a week after the build, I find a place called "Model Truckin" and see this scheme in decal form and think of all the work I could have saved myself, now Round 2 has this kit out and it has improved decals that give you this scheme, but I know this truck will never fade or crack a few years from now.

So you taped off and hand painted the stripes? Great job sir. I want to do this paint scheme for my freight liner.B.J. and the BEAR one.

@@munchkinmodelingman72GAM2 I masked everything and spray painted it, did smaller details by hand

Very nice. I am presently building the w925 and i am confused by the the way the instruction say to mount the rear axle brackets at an angle towards the rear of the chassis. But there is no angle specified! Any tips would be appreciated

How did you do the seminal paint scheme on the kenworth?

Nice trucks, how did you make that winter front for the 4300?

If you go to a material store, they sell thin vynal, I made slight cuts to get the folded tops and not going all the way through, I went down the center then folded it and painted the silver to represent the zipper, a toothpick to make the snap buttons.

For those haters that keep giving thumbs down, let me see your work, this is the very thing that got me off the channel to begin with, I'm not rich and not tech savvy, I'm just a former trucker of 40 years and a old Marine vet that has a hobby I like to share, so rather than mess with my channel, go elsewhere or at least say why the thumbs down.

Don't know why I got 5 thumbs down, I'm not rich so I can't do fancy videos, in fact this was the first time I have done a video, for the thumb down people, why don't you link me to your builds or give constructive advise, I don't claim to be a professional model builder, I just thought I would share the projects and show support for the hobby, have a great day and God bless.
