Michael didn't change much over the years, he maintained the youthful hippie demeanor into his older age. He seemed like a calm cool guy. RIP

Good man. RIP.... He was 77. I would like to know more about his life, I recently read he was also a sculptor, and had 5 kids. I'm also a sculptor, & 8 years younger.

They call the audience members kids, most of them were in a state of agelessness, and there were a lot of Vietnam vets there groovin and doing their thing. Many people don't know that the anti-war movement made its way across the Pacific Ocean to the rank and file of American soldiers in Vietnam. In '68 about 10% of the troops were anti-war, by 71 whole units were refusing to go into battle just so some higher up could get his ticket punched and a feather in his cap. When I was there, off-duty I'd have a smoke, put the headphones on and listen to all the new psychedelic bands. Out in the field at night we'ed party and listen to some groovey frigen tunes. We were and still are the only Rock n Roll Army in the history of America. Peace, love and music came to us, and we said yeah, fug this war. Read, "Soldiers in Revolt" by David Cortright.
