So many people don't know what luck actually DOES. It ups your odds of the items you find to be a higher rarity, it has no effect on rolls or giving you actually valuable items. Having a lot of luck can double your odds of receiving legendary items, but it's doubling from 2.5% to 5%, which means you still have a 95% chance to NOT get the legendary item even with a lot of luck. Finding the legendary bardic pants in the pile at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1391">23:11</a> is a good example of luck successfully giving you a high rarity item, but sadly one that isn't actually valuable.

Exactly. Luck is like a statistical advantage. You would have to create two samples where you loot 1000 containers(each sample must have the same amount of each type container aswell since different containers have different drop rates) with and without luck to truly see the difference. It's not like running luck one run is gonna do anything. It might, but its impossible to know if what you got was due to luck.

happens every season with any key/place holder best thing u can have in my opinion is raw gold takes a lot of space with bags and chests but its safer incase the market flips also rings/necks are smaller in size and worth more if they are bis rolls

​@@Terkiaz consider trading your gold keys and gold holders for artifacts and expensive gear that is easy to resell. Those will keep their value till end of wipe. Artifacts and expensive legendary jewelry are good options, lots of gold for fewer stash slots.

Keys are only valuable because they're a rare item. If they weren't rare, people wouldn't store value in them. Imo, keys should drop a lot more commonly for what they offer. People will just store their value in some other rare item instead. Trophy items are what value should be stored in imo, not items with a practical use in-game.

For the love of god, please use the light gauntlets and sallet helmet. The sallet gives you so much more movespeed and is like 1% less PDR

The crusader is a direct upgrade. You can get MS on any piece. You cannot get the 5% headshot reduction crusader gives over sallet anywhere elsewhere very very minor MS diff is not worth the loss in pdr and the huge difference in HS reduc, 5% is a LOT.

Idk exactly what rooms and containers can give named items anymore. I know skull keys do. So lets say its a 2% chance of finding a named item in skull key room (I dont know what the actual number is). Then you would statistically need 50 skull keys to get a named items. So if a named item is worth 100k (arbitrary number. I dont know what each of them currently go for), then logically a skull key should be worth 2k gold, since you need 50 of them to get one unique statistically. The problem is that trading large amounts of coin in this game, is very hard. So rare items become a means to transfer gold to pay for high value gear. If they just increased how much coin each container held until keys were superfluos, then keys should logically drop until their price represents their chance of dropping a named item(in my example it would be 2k for a skull key. But of course my numbers are not the actual chance or price.) Lets say a coin chest could hold 50k coin. Suddenly if two people both have coin chests, they can trade two empty chests for two full and they have 100k transfered in a single trade. Even better would be if they increased the money cap on the market so that people dont need to use trade chat to trade items worth more than 50k. I think if they made those changes we would actually see people start using keys to open rooms.

I PROMISE you, luck does nothing in this game. It's fugazi. In some situations it seems to make your loot quality WORSE. I tested this when they had the insane loot boost. I got better loot on a warlock than I did on bard with 200-350 luck.
