spawning at the north or south in ice abyss you can use the jump up into Wyvern to get to the other side quickly. Just care there's a harpy protecting each way up! :3

2:13 “Imagine playing Dark Souls and you just look up a guide.” Don’t get me wrong, I get the point you’re trying to make but BROTHER THAT IS A BAD EXAMPLE. For fighting bosses, sure. Imagine trying to progress through one of From Soft’s notoriously convoluted questlines blind where some of them require steps like “buy this entire NPC’s inventory” or “answer No because if you answer yes they become hallowed and DIE” A guide is borderline necessary if you want to 100% any of the Souls Games.

Not only that, but you can build your character wrong and make your playthrough EXPONENTIALLY more difficult. You absolutely need a guide for playing DS the first time.

@@The_Riot most players are not trying to 100% any FS game... Most players are not going to learn to parry... A huge portion of players are going to cheese most things if they can. There will always be NG+ to 100% if your a trophy hunting fomo butt muncher, but imagine how amazing a spoiler free run of ER is... Not getting a "better ending" (they all sucked). I'd never find Malenia without a guide, but someone did.

@@jerrodhopper6558 That’s a lot of generalizations based on little to no evidence. Just because YOU don’t enjoy playing through a From Soft game’s entirety and finding the little secrets that they hide doesn’t mean other players don’t enjoy it. I mean hell there was an entire group of players that used a communal “SEEKERS” tag on their soapstones to share hints with each other and figure out the game’s hidden content and paths. I know people who took an entire week off of work just to play through the game and even beat Malenia before anybody was making videos about it. To call them “fomo butt munchers” just because they’re passionate about a game they like and had so much work put into it is just flat out reductive and shows a very ignorant / surface level understanding on your part.

loot in the world (outside of mobs, chest) generates with map start and luck do not influence it. only loot inside mobs, chests, piles etc affected by luck.

Pile is way more worth doing in inferno/ice abyss compared to goblin caves because the loot on lower levels is increased by a lot

@@fabricatedpetrichor If you want to do it solo Warlock is arguably the one that has the most leeway. Bard (what I play) is arguably 2nd best and also most times faster to clear

Its been in a chest for the past few season, Luck should effect the chance to get the Unique, The only one it doesn't effect is the Frozen key, since the items on the ground, But yea, i feel you on getting better loot without luck xD

so you got real excited about that unique windlass.. that shit be dropping in golden and lions heads down there, theres a lions head/golden hidden with a wendigo right where you spawned that ive gotten double unique in twice with 0 luck. that being said idk how you ever make these key rooms worth it, cuz they really cant up the named drop rate any more and everything else you can literally just find in chests in the lowest dungeon.

@@JM-bp5ro For the skull key is in a chest, not in the ground, they changed it a while ago, i did run a SK 2 days ago, i got it from ghost king and got nothing from the key T.T a legendary battle axe xD.

My friends and I have used around 6 frozen keys and still haven't gotten any uniques.

Assuming 7,5% drop chance is correct, statistically you need 13-14 keys. Ofc statistics do not necessarily bear out in small samples. If you used 1000 keys you should get close to 75 artifacts. Ofc no individual person is gonna do that. But 1000 different people using a key each, would see 75 artifacts added to the market. Problem is that key prices are not mirroring the chance to get an artifact since keys have secondary use as placeholders for coin. This drives up their price. So no rational person should ever use a key to open a room. Its just an incredibly expensive lottery ticket. Unless ofc the devs make coin storage more abundant and increase cap on market from 50k

I am getting 3 tapped by druid panther in 124 lobby, with 30 pdr fighter, snd you know how fast and busted druid attacks are, and two tapped by longbow with same pdr, fighter is not easy, pdr just makes you slower, pdr is doo doo, I can play ranger all night stumping slow fighter that cant do anything because of movespeed, if your wondering why 30% pdr is because thats what you can get with decent movespeed
