the amound of effort you but in the videos is insane considering its a mangahaul, good light, so much b-roll, colorcorrection/grading (corrent me if im worng on that lookin' really good tho) and just perfect choice of music thats why youre the goat of mangatube. you can clearly see the passion, thank you so much for making these

I love and hate these. It is insane to see what we are missing, also the level of design. Those European are killing us. I would love to read that Joe boxing, a lot of creators I love big fans of that. That was one of the best Manbend episodes though! So much fun to watch. Thanks again for the share man.

Love your hauls and am always blown away by the international releases. As for as the Wolf's Rain manga, it came after the anime. The story follows the original anime up to a point, but veers in a completely different and much less impactful direction, likely due to the 2 volume time limit. It was released during that weird period in the early/mid 2000s where anime originals regularly got their so-so manga adaptations brought over in English because the publishers knew they would sell due to the anime's popularity.

Honestly it’s super fast to learn if you already know Spanish I definitely recommend it! French and Spanish share 70% of the vocabulary so we got a huge head start 😂

Love seeing all this foreign manga! Wonder if we'll ever see any Italian manga on this channel :) I've been joking that Otherworldly Izakaya Nobu's manga is teaching me German since there's alot of German used in the series, but lowkey it's been making me consider buying German manga and learning the language!

I plan to get Homunculus in Italian very soon! Although I’m hesitant to practice Italian more than what I have atm since I still need to master French. Also want to get Divine Comedy by Go Nagai in Italian. The Omni is so beautiful 😭

I love Adachi, but his works have not been very lucky so far here in Spain. They seem to like him more in Italy, and there is a nice (and not terribly expensive) Italian edition of Touch, a wonderful work. Boy do I covet that beautiful French edition of Hikaru no Go. It's just a little pricey for me, but seeing it now in your hands may well be the tipping point. There is a German edition of Tekkon Kinkreet. I don't know about the quality, but I guess it must be good. Not very cheap, but, of course, it's a long book.

I’m a huge mitsuru adachi fan, and I read most of his online free, but if your wondering if there are others that were released in America, it’s only short program and cross game sadly. Short program being incredibly hard to find but I managed to get my hands on it for quiet cheap which is rare to find cheap prices. For Hikaru no go, omg that’s one of my favorite manga/anime series of all time and I could re read it so many times without getting tired of it. I almost have it complete but missing the last volume but I’m not a huge fan of the English edition. That French edition looks 100 times better and even the Japanese ones.

What are your favorite by Adachi? I saw he has a boxing one and I’m thinking about getting that one in French next. But I hear H2 is also really good
@theartistwriter48122 жыл бұрын
@@Weeabruh My favoirte is Touch and it's sequel Mix but if your looking for his shorter series to read I can recommend Katsu! Which is his boxing one, that one was a fun read. He also has a swimming/romo & julet type of story called Rough which is also short but a fun read as well. Katsu and Rough are both around 10ish volumes long. Touch and H2 being his longest(especially h2) with Mix coming right up. Yeah I really enjoyed basically all of them, I still haven't read a few series of his yet but I would want to start when I have the time.

I would not really consider Kago to be horror in the same way Umezz, Ito, Hino, etc are. Unless "body horror" counts? While most of his stuff is grotesque i dont think it is scary. If anything I feel like his work leans more to the humorous side. Also, as to being OOP in english the only one I know is the story of his, Punctures, in "Secret Comics Japan." Everything else is still in print as far as I knew. Will have to check if Leviathan is in italian, looks cool. Shion also looks like something to check out. Hoping with Heaven's Door release we might get more Keiichi Koike works in english.

Awesome thanks Weeabruh! I’m not into the horror genre either but to be honest Junji Itos art style is humorously grotesque and celebrates twisted humanity in the honorable schools of R. Crumb and Wiliiam Hogarth from England 19th century. Please see his “Progress of a Rake “ or maybe harlot and Gin Alley and Beer Street the magistrates luxurious British judge wigs - he’s the master and quite expensive for a bucket list . Leviathan in French the French ALWAYS have superior comics that most never get translated BUT the Incal DID and Moebius is the GREATEST of all time I’ll put my money on the table vs Jack Kirby Steve Ditko Buschema etc. I will go broke chasing down Moebius works they’re all $200 up on eBay . Please DO NOT MISS the classic French Fantastic Planet film from 1972? One of the foundational dystopian animated films of all time the French are adults and We’re cursed with Disney in the US they turn to pure shit everything they touch !
