that was a nice hotel I stayed there a few times and had a lot of friends that worked there sad to see it took so long we all thought it would be built back a lot sooner I lost my home on the water with Iniki I rebuilt it and sold it and now its worth millions...have no regrets and will never live near the ocean again, its not if its when another storm hits again

That place was a pit in the 70’s…. As long as they can control the swarms of mosquitoes it might end up being nice. It’s a pretty setting.

Many years removed from HI, but such beautiful sweet memories of this slice of heaven still remain. It was on my first visit to Kauai in 1969 that I had the honor of staying in a King Suite with the lava rock outside bath & huge sea shell sink, my first papaya coupled with the Islands version of Ohana. I lost my heart there & many years later returned to stay. I am back on the Mainland now but those special memories return when I listen to Don Ho ‘s “I’ll Remember You”. I am so appreciative for all those involved with Coco Palms restoration. A Mahalo to all

It’s where I grew up🥲 being raised with my dad parents, they were the head of (grandfather)maintenance and (grandmother) housekeeping. I use to walk the grounds, visit the monkeys in the back, swim in the swimming pools, eat free lunches from the uncles & aunties that worked in the restaurants every day except on my grandparents day off❤ it’s sad that they will demo the place. It was a huge part of my life as a little girl to a young adult😢 I love you coco palms n I will greatly miss you😢🥲 but I will never forget you cause you’ll always be in my memories 🌹🌹🌹
