This has definitely been a huge labour of love. An amazing self build pond, massive credit to the owner who has done so much of this pond on his own.
The pond runs on one bottom drain which is filtered by a Nexus 320

Got the idea for the switch after watching endless videos of Tim's Peeps falling around the filter house to turn off the air for a clear look .... seemed logical

why don't you add the water that the fish were transported in to the pond ?? Is to avoid possible differences in 'quality' ?

I have no issue adding the water. It won’t cause any issues. I really only do it like this because of people on KZbin moan when I put the water in.
