Not downing vettes nor am I kissing up to the gtr but I can't not point out some important variables here. 1. GTR-6 silly boys under the hood Vette has 8 silly boys. 3.8 vs 7.0 2. Vette has double dinner plates to rush it to the 4000hp range. 106 is not a snail shell by anyone's say whereas the fastest gtrs around rn are in the 3000 area which isn't far behind the Z if we're being real 3. Z is completely incapable of being Streeted while the tall hp gtrs some of which still contain factory interior accessories air con radio etc. That vette is only allowed to play on the strip. Could go with more but not needed. Long story short, shower with warm not cold water before getting into a winky measuring contest.

Wow! Just wow! Impressive car, indeed. This year Honda will release the new Civic Si with a similar package! A 1.5 Liter I-4 with a turbo as well. I can only wait to unleash this demon on the straight away. If I add the aerodynamical spoiler, designed by the factory itself, I'm sure the full ferocity of the car will explode out of Hades itself and safety will become an issue, as well. ZR1's were meant for track racing, not drag racing. It's quite literally a waste of a good OEM factory track car. It's like buying a Koenigsegg and then tube framing it and setting it up for only drag racing with big and skinnies. There might be a few more ZR1's, but there needs to be a critical mass of them willing to run the ZR1 events to keep them going. Cutting one up like this is reducing that pool of good affordable ZR1's. Eventually there will only be shitty affordable ones, or good unaffordable ones. Chopping them up and wasting them when they could have just used a base model makes that happen faster. Got it now? Understand why chopping it up was stupid?

just look at the tires, they're massive. half the backend of the thing is tires, most sport cars have 10-13 inch wide tires on each side, those are easily 20 inch a piece wide. drag radials also fold on themselves to allow it to grip like that.
