Apparently, Dodge isn’t legally allowed to sell vehicles designed only for drag racing, which explains why you can spend one extra dollar on a kit to modify the dodge demon to be able to drag race effectively.

They only made a limited number of these and know everyone who bought one would spring for the extra buck. It's easy PR for the brand, and avoids state laws that wont allow racing slick tires on public roads. (For good reason) Other than that, nothing illegal about including the $1 kit with every car automatically.

I literally couldn't care less about the interior of the Demon. If it's functional and reasonably comfy, that's all I need. I won't lose sleep over whether the dashboard is plastic or metal embossed with diva details. This is the definition of a muscle car, an adrenaline-pumping, aggressively designed, fiendish exterior augmented with raw power. It's a piece of history and will one day be remembered as a beloved 21st century classic.

The design of muscle cars back then was truly timeless and stunning. The Camaro until recently was like that as well. So I really respect Dodge for this great retro design and the fact that they are sticking with it!

I really don't get it. I received my factory ordered Challenger last month and as soon as I sat in it I was surprised as I had always heard people talk crap on the interior. I didn't think it was bad at all. Also yes I factory ordered one and never test drove one before so I didn't even know what the interior was like haha. I also only ever drove a manual semi truck before but I figured it'd be close enough so I ordered it with a standard transmission too. So far I have not once been dissatisfied with the interior.

Wouldn't matter it's mostly going to people who will never drag race the car anyway so like Matt said it's shit at taking corners fast so you drive on regular roads you would need 840 horse you'll be good with the 808 and you won't need slicks you take those on the highway and it'll tear em up.
