It's easy to stay trapped in low MMR if you never team with players. Rando's drag you down 50% of the time. Hard to move up (past a point) with just grinding solo.

My skill level in dota is nothing to brag about, but holy shit. This dude's item and skill build are totally indefensible. He plans on stacking and clearing camps, but doesn't max either of his skills that would help him farm them. Press is objectively core LC's worst skill to max first. Then he goes for aghs while he has Sky and Troll on his team. It's like he didn't want to win duels. Also, skipping bkb or blink against OD and Underlord is insane. If this dude just learned the numbers on his abilities and blindly followed build guides for those 4000 games, he'd probably be at least archon.

To be fair, buying Dust after a succesful enemy Mirana ult, while you can question why he didn't do it earlier, is still a smart thing. Fucking up, realising what you should have done and adjusting is better than fucking up, changing nothing and making the same mistake six times before the game ends and stops you definition-of-insanity-ing the same strat a seventh time. The reason people stay low skill is lack of learning 90% of the time, after all. The other 10% is profound mental retardation, which would be why I suck at games, but that's besides the point.
