All that power just to spin the tyres, a set of front and rear diff locks would of been a better investment. But i have to say listening to that engine spool up did put a smile on my face.

As far as I know it’s a welded rear differential and open front differential it’s an interesting set up,may have to do a walk around video of it and get the full run down! But hell yeah it sounds sweet spooling up!!???

Alot of people saying about twin lockers and I bet 75% of them haven't got them either and everyone's so quick to knock someone these days, I think think he's a alright with this truck considering the story behind it and the amount of work and time he has put into it and like everything it's a developing project truck like we all have

Its a two wheel drive. Lockers are worth way more than 400hp

It's easy to knock people you don't know and don't know what is going or build process!!! It's a rolling progress with what gets done first and do you need twin lockers to be on the road!!! The answer is no and there isn't many trucks that are twin locked, he's a friend of mine and I think he's doing alright working on a budget

The OM606 only lasts 250 thousand miles because it’s suited for an automatic gearbox not the manual gearbox the OM616/617 are able to do 500 thousand miles so they are worth looking 👀 for if you can find one especially if you want a good engine in an old Land Rover defender or a good reliable engine neither of those engines are turbocharged only the ones that AMG specifically built which are 4 cylinder engines

You can get the Nissan patrol with the 3.7L diesel engine and they were built until 2009 and they did not continue building it for the uk it was only for Japan and other parts of Europe

@@ALL_4_WHEELS it’s a dodge ram 2500 with a Cummins 5.9 turbo diesel. It’s fun and quite capable off road (as long as it’s not in mud, sand, or anything that it can sink into) momentum is the key.

greetings from Pontassieve province of Florence Italy I have a 2001 all original Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 4x4 off road vehicle with 1.3 LT m13a petrol engine which I use for off road driving on dirt farm and forestry roads used by the Italian forestry companies for felling forest wood with their skidders and forwarders and the forestry trucks with the crane and then I use it for farm work like transporting the boxes of olives from the field to the farm warehouse where I pick the olives and then transport the produce from the garden to my house! (and my Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 4x4 pickup truck is a good off road vehicle and due to its small size we go where the bigger 4x4 off road vehicles can't go!

The OM 606 diesel engine was originally built with 136 bhp from the engine and one turbo not two or 400 bhp and it was built in 1936 until 1968 and then Mercedes Benz stopped making the engine completely and then it went to the OM 612 engine was put in the original G300 and 200 bhp from the diesel engine was went into the E class estate car and many other cars

The thing with the om606, its response and VEis terrible unless its making at least 10 psi and that doesnt come on until 2700 rpm ++ depending on your turbo if its set up for big power.

Yeah can definitely see with the vehicle as it’s a twin turbo on low revs it really struggles to get going you can see he has to get those revs high as possible and then all hell breaks loose!!

Im part of lincs offroad club. We do plenty of big hills. We dont do dodgy stuff because some of us dont have roll cages… wait did you go on the green laning day? Thats for tame vehicles. The trialing is rough

Just to let you know that the dark side suv company that you have had in some of your videos they have completely different SUVs to the VW SUVs that you have seen they have a Skoda yeti SUV which has 240 bhp from the 2.0L diesel engine and it has the same ground clearance as the grey Land Rover defender 90 that’s in your videos but the dark side company has spent a lot of money 💰 upgrading the Skoda SUV and it’s been tested against the new defender 110 in a car test change called car wow they do off road challenges for different vehicles and they have even tested the 2019 model jimmy against the new model defender 110 and the Suzuki Jimmy was actually better off road then it was tested against the Mercedes Benz G63 and the Suzuki won that one and it’s done the same thing against a lot of bigger vehicles with much bigger engines so you might want to see some of those videos and then find someone who has a new model Jimmy for one of your videos
