I can love and appreciate every build even if it isn't my exact style. Someone took the time, love, and passion to build their vehicle the way they wanted to and how they envisioned it. That's what the community is all about. Sharing the passion for cars and trucks or even bikes. Whatever you maybe passionate about it's you paying for it at the end of the day and how much enjoyment you receive from it. Much love brother, keep doing what you're doing. Lifes too short not to enjoy and live out your dreams and desires.

Just incase anyone is wondering about warranty. Mods do not void your warranty. your warranty will only be voided if the dealership can prove that an aftermarket part has been the cause of a failure/issue of the car. if your car has an issue and you take it in and the issue is related to an aftermarket part. then yes your warranty will be voided. KEEP ALL YOUR STOCK PARTS. besides that youll be fine. "The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act states that a dealer must prove that aftermarket equipment caused the need for repairs before it can deny warranty coverage" link: www.reddit.com/r/cars/comments/17wb05/what_mods_will_void_warranty/

For a while I've been debating between the WRX and STI, but from everything I've seen, it looks like you can get the WRX and then build as you go. Whereas if you get the STI, everything is already there in a matter of speaking. The WRX is a fun daily driver and fun to MOD, an STI is meant for the track, but if you want to go track with the WRX you can, and customize from the ground up with it. It seems to me that the Subaru community is always clashing between WRX and STI, meanwhile they're the same, just different in terms of parts. It's almost as if you're paying for the name STI, because if the STI was just called WRX with different parts listed, there wouldn't even be a civil clash between WRX & STI owners. I believe the WRX is the way to go. I can get the STI, but the WRX seems more reasonable, fun, and like I said, you can build as you go.
@ChristianHudnell
@ChristianHudnell 3 жыл бұрын
The good thing about both is they can give you your needs with whichever you would like. I just cared for a daily. My corvette is my track and race car. So I just wanted a nice car I can daily drive that was also fun to have as well. This worked perfectly and is reliable for me. The STI is the better performing car hands down, but on the road and how I would drive it I wouldn't take advantage of it much. Thanks for comment and watching

It's easy to work on well engineered. On my STI and please someone tell me if this logic is sound as I want to start with a ground up approach less wheels and tires white line sway bar or something back Fortune 500 coilovers all around and a cobb cat back

Awesome video keep up the good work. Like any car if you get a good tuner ask him what parts you need after you put them on go get a dyno tune . Do not just use a tune you get with access port . A good shop will work with you. Yes it cost money but you will be in the safe zone with a good tuner. Stay safe out there everyone and enjoy your rides .

Dude I’m glad you’re a believer of the fa20dit, they have so much potential people just don’t realize it. People always say bad things about the car and the engine even though they’ve never done an oil change themselves. As of now with my set up,( no e85 or e30 FBO, similar to yours), I’ve beaten many v6 at roles and kept up with v8 , even beaten FBO ej like walk in the park.

Yeah these cars make power easily especially with E85. There is a reason for performance and efficiency the FA platform is the new direction. @@ChristianHudnell if you buy a built short block make sure you get a closed deck ...if you are not familiar with the terminology ...a closed deck has no open coolant passages open around the top of the cylinder sleaves ...so where the cylinder heads contact the short block , the block is solid aluminum ...these types were expensive years ago but i have seen them complete good for over 500 hp for less than $6k Oh yea the reason for the solid deck so not to allow any movement of the cylinder sleave against the head gasket that will wear out the seal between the head , head gasket , and the top of the cylinder sleave ....examples ford focus recall has the same problem ...all open deck blocks of small turbo 4 cylinders basically ...when you go from 268 hp witj boost at 20 psi to over 400 hp there is way more pressure on the head gaskets and those little cylinder sleaves start moving around that are not attached to the top of thr block ....a good example was the 4 cylinder inline chevy vega with an aluminum open deck block and a cast iron head ...lots of head gasket problems ...and back then in the early 70's you could get a Garret Turbo Charger and make it explode like a grenade

Just hearing what you just said about the Corvette you went from a Harley-Davidson to a 929 RR. The thing I noticed about acceleration times and quickness is that the Subarus are so much faster out the hole if you got a decent driver and they're quicker they're not necessarily faster. But while the other guys are building up their speed we're already across the finish line. I cannot wait to mod my car. Since the it's the next of the last model year they made STIs I'm kind of hesitant so any advice on sound mods would be greatly welcome
