We've been on a short two week hiatus from uploading, but that's because 2020 is going to be a year full of burnouts, big engines, and characters straight from the chaos of the car scene. Sometimes you just need to take a breath and step back from it all for a second. For the past two weeks i've been in Tokyo! Soaking in the automotive culture and just enjoying the beautiful country of Japan. Although the next few videos on the channel will be from my time overseas, the thing I brought back in quantity was inspiration and a new perspective. @Pinky Beast I agree the biggest reason is the S15 is it's own. It was designed to be a sports car even the base model vs the GT-Rs being a performance trim based off an economy car. People call the GT-Rs beautiful because society makes it a requirement based on hype. However I just don't see a family car based performance car being seen as beautifully designed as compared to cars like the NSX, FD3S, and S15

The overall design and layout of the interior is pure classic. You could still do that design with upgraded materials, like brushed aluminum and carbon fiber and it would look spectacular. Got damn, I love Silvia's and I'm a Honda fanboy.

Such a beautiful car. I want one someday. Im planning on moving back to Japan after July 2022 for my next command, or command's and then retire there. I will but another R32 (previously owned an 92 R32 when stationed in Japan) or R34, and buy a Nissan Silvia S15.

@@Adam-xi9fr yep you are 100% correct, and thank God that they allow German imports to some extend (Well Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Porsche etc) and some Italian imports... but Opel for example which has made competition to Saturn, and GM in general would not be allowed to enter the US. Ford models that are very efficient and also considered Tuner cars in Europe are strangely enough almost outlawed here in the US.

I had a S15 when I was in my 20's then sold it :( but years later brought a LC 500 (just turned 40) as it was the closest to a model S15 for the new era. I just couldn't find anything sexy as the S15 and the LC 500 is the best Japanese car for the moment.

Ahh, these cars. Ever since I saw an S15 for the first time, I've wanted one. This one is an absolute beauty and Charles seems like an awesome dude! Your question about the ideal 5 car garage is one that I've thought about long and hard, and this is what I've come up with so far: Practical Daily - Fairly stock Celica GT-Four ST205 (already own it) or Yaris GR-Four Sports car daily/show car - Celica GT-Four ST205 (already own it) or SW20 MR2 Turbo Supercar/investment opportunity - NSX or MKIV Supra Track car - Celica GT-Four ST205 (already own it) or S15 Truck/SUV to tow the track car - Toyota Hilux As you can see, I've gone about this completely wrong and ended up with three GT-Fours! What can I say, I'm an addict! 😂

everyone says you have to have different cars for different things. but if you need all 5 cars in one. it has to be the evo. pref the 7/8/9 the car salesman went to slap it and broke a bone in his hand. stock 13's lasts a while and easily can be more car than you need for anything and only be in the 11'2 or 12's . i do really want one of these silvias someday though. ive always liked them and from the love they get this many people cant be wrong.

@@Fredrick656 I like the body style of the s15 way more than the r34. and the s15 weights 640 pounds lighter so even if you swap in an rb or 2j it's still gonna be lighter and have more potential than i think a r34 would have. You never see a r34 drifting or in time attack. Idk maybe im being bias.

My 5 car garage might consist of my (or any other BMW diesel perhaps) BMW E91 diesel for daily/long distance travelling/work and for pulling. My 95 Civic which is my first car, an Evo 8/9 or 10/An R33 and a last but not least a Chaser Tourer V. Or if you go big, my garage would be: Evo 8/9 or 10, R33, S15, NSX and an LFA think. Or I need a way bigger garage to be more pleased because then I will have lots of JDM, EUDM and USDM cars in there.

I own one of these but here are the problems im facing: 1. registration in US due to its prior year to be legal: 2024 or 2025 - idk 2. its in the garage awaiting a new motor - RB motor. overall it should be done next year. video will be up next year when im done with it.

I've always loved this chassis from the moment I bought an rc drift car which came with the s15 body(the d1 kazama edition). I even got a soft spot for the varietta model. It's a shame they never came with an rb engine but a swap is possible.A greek guy has done it.you can find videos of it here on youtube

I’m gonna scoop up a Nissan Silvia Spec R s15 before they sky rocket like the 32/33/34 GT-Rs did when they become available to USA importers. Guys this will be one of the next unicorn cars I’m certain. But I’ll buy one mostly because I’ve always wanted one. I’ve imported/owned 2 180sx’s both sr20. Great drivers cars
