Been waiting for this. I didnt realise it was out in the wild being all stage 2. Got 2019 Golf r dsg and this seems perfect to me.

I think the fact is that the stage 2 OPF will be a good option in the future for all opf car. I Will a gti tcr soon just to experience it.

My stage 1 Revo Cupra 280 in 2017 was brutal it smoked stock RS3s an M140is till top top end

I have a tcr and was on the fence about remap. Have a new clubsport coming in a month and deffo going to do a stage 1 on it with your remap

Any noticeable increase on exhaust volume? More pops and bangs? Much difference in sound compared to a stock TCR with this pack?

I’m proper loving this.. I just picked up my 2020 Cupra Lux 290 edition, I wanted to keep my GPF in place. For you guys to release a stage 2 pack that retains all that and produces 400PS, I’m in. How much all in, to get this done to my Cupra?!..

I think this upgrade don’t apply for MX right? Mk3 models don’t use GPF. The portal for Revo shows I need to buy the Downpipe as minimum requirements

I remember reading that Revo dialled down the torque to protect the gearbox... What's changed? How is the gearbox protected?

Correct, during development we did see some clutch slip on manual cars so reduced the torque at Stage 1. Stage 2 we would recommend an upgraded clutch.

In your blog post, you said. “In fact, we’ve ended up pulling torque back for this Stage 1 software to ensure the clutch is protected and retains OEM-like levels of lifespan,” Any issues on clutch slip with the GPF stage 2? I run a stage 1 with carbon induction kit and an Akrapovich exhaust and it's unbelievable. Thanks

@@AutoVidzzz There won't be much difference with Stage 1 and 2. Stage 2 should max out the NM to 550 and thats a figure the DQ381 Transmission can still deal with. Anyway TCU remap is always recommended for these cars

See if you get a 2019 gold mk 7.5 with gpf, could You remove the gpf and change the direct ignition system and then fit the stage 3 IS38ETR upgrade on it like it was a non-gpf model?

Different ECU structure and stock calibration so wouldnt be as simple as that Unfortunately.

What do you suggest for the TCU as the standard dq381 box can't take this sort of torque.? Yet your happy to sell this to owners of dq381 cars? Obviously using another brand TCU Software your ECU Software will be sending incorrect torque values to the TCU. I have a revo stage 2 with dq381 so what would you suggest as you were quite happy to take my money for the ecu software...thanks.

Hi Graham, we are running all our development cars without TCU software with this Stage 2 ECU software. And have no reported issues from customers running this software with stock TCU calibration. As with exhaust options, required for some stage 2 software, our Revo dealers will be able to advise on third party software/hardware to work alongside Revo products of which we currently dont offer. You are able to run third-party TCU with our ECU software if you wanted, there would be no communication issues. Please speak with your local Revo Dealer who installed your software if they have a TCU option for you if you wish to upgrade that too. Thank you

Can you remove soft limiter in sport mode, OPF cars are little quiet so help us 😂

Sorry we don't remove any software limiters from vehicles. They are there from the factory as a safety parameter.

I'm interested in this. I have a milltek GPF back, retaining the cat and GFP. Will this software be fine for that setup?

Would recommend you to put in a bigger intercooler. At this stage you need fresh and colder.air even after your first pull. A big intercooler is always a good option. This would be enough for Stage 2 together with your exhaust.

If I put a is38 on my gtj performance opf could I get the stage 2 software as it pretty much the same engine minus turbo. I know apr offer this

On GPF cars? Correctly this isnt possible on our software as we would want to do a full development programme for an IS38 swap into IS20 platform cars. We are currently looking at Stage 2 IS20 GPF software, stage 3 may be a consideration in the future. We will keep you updated.

@@bird-dog81 what your looking for already exists mate, just search stage 3 gti package and you'll find what you need.... which is an is38 hybrid an all the supporting mods its not cheap but youl get 400-450 bhp.......or search mountune 2+ power upgrade, which is package that has a standard is38 with all the other mods an will get you 380bhp for half the price👍

It looks interesting is there going to be a review of this pack? I would be interested but not if its going to be spin city on the front wheels all the time. I can understand that is difficult to put down that power on a fwd car. Is the power limited on lets say first three gears so there is not so much spin or how does it behave in general? I have seen some 400-500hp plus GTIs where there is massive torque steer.

Depends how the torque and power is delivered, one of the reasons we do most of our development on the road and track, and work a lot of partial throttle calibration . So you dont have to be full throttle or have a large dump of boost and torque that will light up the tyres at every opportunity. We dont limit performance in each gear, as you may need it, and with good tyres and throttle control the car FWD cars are a lot of fun with this setup. You can still spin the wheels, if you so wish, so control is key, but the software is designed to make the cars drivable rather then solely about the peak dyno numbers. A few of our dealers may have this setup in a demo car, so worth speaking with your local one to see what they can do. You also have the option of Stage 1 software, if that offers a better balance for your requirements . Thank you

@@RevoHQ 👍 i have had my car revo stage 1 for a while now and im happy with it but decided i will go with a swedish tuner and a properly upgraded turbo and gpf delete instead :) dont want to risk a costly turbo failure.

Well this is impressive If they can pull out 400Bhp with the gpf I can just remove the gpf and cat my self and delete the engine light i should get around 415

Just removing the cat and GPF and deleting the engine warning light will more than likely cause overboost issues. We have tested with varying exhaust setups and our software is specifically designed to work with the stock CAT and GPF in place.

@@georgephokas05 Why do you think they are bad? Sorry, we won't be supporting GPF removal on vehicles, the same as we don't support DPF removal on diesel vehicles.

@@georgephokas05 No, this software is for a stock exhaust system. Also, many sports or Decats only work with GPF delete systems.

You’d be surprised I have a stage 2 S3 400ps 570nm and it can keep up with some very fast cars believe me. I can get 8.7ish 100-200 which is faster than a Gallardo and 996 GT3 in a hatchback.
