The automatic version’s transmission is all manual only difference is that a computer is doing all the shifting swap out the steering wheel with an aftermarket one and buy a universal paddle shift kit.😉

Beautiful looking RS. I recommend the Precision Turbo or better as it will alleviate back pressure returning to the heads and moves the torque to the right of the powerband saving your rods. Even with the stock motor you can tune it with the Precision turbo to just 400-420whp for safety reasons on the stock block....You might ask why spend money on a turbo to make the same power??? Well on the stock turbo you can make 400whp but that's peak power but by the time you reach redline your hp has tapered down and you are no where near 400, more like 350whp at redline trust me I went that route b4 upgrading the turbo. The stock turbo cant sustain 400whp the entire powerband just peak numbers..With the Precision turbo you make 400whp and hold that power all the way till red line (way more top end) while with a nice flat powerband vs a peak hp that drops and in my opinion saving the rods and less possible backpressure to the heads due to being a bigger turbo as long as you keep it closer to 400whp on the stock motor. On e30 it spools fast too. Trust me I'm at 440whp on mines and no regrets. 420whp its a sweet safety spot tho!!!!!! With that said man I give you props. Your car looks awesome!

I love my RR FoST...but always wanted the RS in RR. Looks clean! A bit aggressive for my taste but Id give you a huge thumbs up and a smile if I saw that on the road! but..one of my first mods..you did all that work and are still running the prop rod?! $100...redline performance hood struts. hands down one of my fav mods btw..my 2016 ST is FBO, e30 tune from Brian at JST as well..super quality guy, responds sometimes in MINUTES!

@@TMWYT that’s crazy! No camber plates? I have friends who has about the same offset with coil-overs and camber plates with no rub. I wonder if the difference is the total offset as a result of the spacers?

Camber plates yeah. But he runs a track stance with minimal added camber. The main reason is the adapter spacers in order to run 5x114 wheels on the focus, they add I think around 25 or 30mm

Definitely getting a rs, how did yall solve the cooling problem? I've heard if ran hard they overheat and I've read it's prone to transmission failure and headgasket blowouts due to the headgasket not actually being made for the rs but the mustang or something like that.

To combat heat he went with a vented hood and has a huge fmic, he hasn’t had any issues with the car yet

classy RS. a few months after owning mine I smoked a baby deer, didn't break my fog but the trim popped off and it broke the actual mount for the fog light, so its just sort of rattling around in there. also fuckin hit a possum, but it was short enough to go under the bumper. it was gross, i looked underneath and could see a hairy piece of possum skin hanging from the bottom of the car. i've literally never hit an animal in a car, and after buying my RS i hit two in the span of a couple months.

I used to have a 07 civic SI and there was a span where I hit 1 bird and about 3 birds flew straight into the side of my car like Kamakazi pilots. It all happened withing months of each other out of the 10 years I owned that car.

@@nightmaster6381 so weird. i now have a bmw wagon that's lowered, much lower than my stock ride height RS, i hit a opossum in that too lol no damage thankfully. BTW, don't buy a lowered car/lower your car if it's the only vehicle you own. this is the 2nd lowered vehicle ive owned as my only vehicle and it SUCKS. You really don't realize until you live with one

@@dingusmagee3326 Wow I'm surprised there wasnt any damage done. A lowered BMW wagon sounds cool, dont think I've ever seen one of those by me. I agree with you on the lowered car thing - I love the aesthetic of lowered cars and might do that only if I had multiple vehicles. With lowered vehicles, sometimes because of traffic situations you cant make moves to prevent damage. Even on roads you may be familiar with in your normal ride height car, you drive that same familiar road for the first time in a low car and you'll discover dips and bumps you never realized were there. Sometimes cops will pull you over for making evasive moves and say you were driving erratically or loss of control of vehicle, ect.
