Fun fact from a mechanic: It is actually not in your best interest to prefill an oil filter because 1. Most people who do, do it from the middle rendering it useles and 2. the residual oil left in the engine is more than enough to help with the restart.

Just cuz you work at jiffy lube don’t make you a mechanic. 1. There is tons of study’s proving both methods wrong. 2. The design of the engines oil system plays into it 3. If your oil has “contaminants” from the factory, large enough to damage bearings or contact surfaces, you shouldn’t use it

I just bought my 2017 RS this weekend. It's my first 300+ HP car and couldn't be more amped. I almost bought a Golf R but after ripping one of these at 60mph in a turn, I was mesmerized by the handling. I started watching your channel a few days ago and I really like your content. My first set of mods will most definitely be the Mountune products and brace bars. I was lucky enough to find a RS with only 20,600 miles. The last owner didn't seem to go too crazy with mods other than a new filter, sway bar upgrade, rally flaps and a tune, plus all the paperwork from the warranty work he had done by ford. I look forward to seeing more Supra vids!

Man I got a used 2012 Focus SE 5SPD for 4k and I like it a hell of a lot more than I expected. Not the most comfortable or powerful but definitely rips off the line lol. Gotta love the power to weight ratio. Needed a cheap replacement due to the auto trans in my Impala going out on top of needing to replace gaskets and the like. It is fun to drive and feels sporty and makes me wish I had an RS or ST but at the same time I'd hate to lose the gas mileage as it's currently sitting at 34-35MPG with spirited in town driving hah. Actually found your channel trying to find a decent video on changing the trans fluid. From what I see you have quite a few good videos and quality ones at that, keep it up!

So, I know it looks like you are very knowledgeable about detailing and products....but if I can make a recommendation...CERAKOTE® Ceramic Trim Coat Kit....it is AMAZING on plastics and calipers...I have a 2011 GTI with faded red calipers ...I washed them with some degreaser and scrubbed them clean....they were faded and chalky...I wish I xould post a picture of what they look like after I cated them...looks like I clear coated them and they should stay that way for like 100 washes....

While doing the shifter arm upgrade on my st I didn’t know that rod wasn’t suppose to come out all the way so I was hammering away at it and got really annoyed, took a big swing right into my pointer finger. Broke my finger. Came back 10 minutes after icing it and realized it was already all the way pushed back and I broke my finger for nothing.

@@NerfBullets I have and love it since 2016. With a little software modification (I didn't touch the hardware) 385HP 530NM. They replaced 3 engines under warranty because I also had the "classic" cylinder head gasket failure. Anyway, I only changed the clutch and brakes on it. It has 257,000 km :-) and also drifts at 130 km/h to the delight of the police :-))

Obviously horses for courses but as an RS owner, this build is so misguided in its attempt. Admittedly looks very good, and that is mostly reason enough to work a car, but that’s where it ends. Why would you swap out forged wheels for cast wheels? They would be completely detracting from the drive, along with the BC coilovers; should have swapped them out with either KW or Ohlins Coilovers or gone a DSC Suspension Controller or KW DDC units. Expecting more noise from just a cat-back as well is ignorant, a hi-flow cat/cat-less down pipe is more than likely required. Was happy to see the a/m waste gate actuator and tune go on though.
