Review Of China Airlines Economy Class on their A350 From Sydney to Taipei | 華航雪梨到台北A350經濟艙

Delighted to be flying China Airlines, EVA Air's competitor. To be honest, they've got some cheap fares out there. Just don't expect Singapore Airlines quality though. They get the job done, but if you have special requests, my experience is that they do not cater as well to it, compared to Singapore Airlines or Qatar Airways. Their economy class cabin was quite good (3-3-3 layout) with light seats and PTVs installed. Their premium economy seats are a 2-3-2 layout, the widest of all airlines out there whom usually use a 2-4-2 layout. Definitely go for their Premium Economy, but I'll check it out and see for you. Business class layout is a 1-2-1, definitely worth a shot if you want some red eye on a long flight.
They've got an extensive route network to Oceania (AU and NZ), within Asia and North America. The route network to Oceania is what trumps it over EVA Air.
I was flying this route on the way to Vietnam, decided to pass through Taiwan because why not? Can buy some more pineapple cakes.

Hi I flew on china airlines on premium economy on the Boeing 777 300ER and I definitely recommend it because it has amazing leg room with a tv remote for your TV so in case the big finger thing you have a remote and then your seat reclines and your leg gets extra height

Great airline. I flew with them a few years ago Sydney to Frankfurt via Taipei. No complaints, was a very pleasant experience.

Flew with them during the holiday season last year AKL-BKK. It’s a great airline. IMHO it’s underrated.

Hi there, thanks for the review! We're flying China Air this summer and have been searching numerous review videos and can't seem to find any info on a question I had. I was hoping if you could recall if there are drop down foot rest bars under the seat in front of you? Sometimes my knees can't handle long flights without that support and wondering if I need to bring my own support. Thank you!

Nope, unfortunately no drop down footrest for this airline, but I know some airlines have it
