That’s because there are more talented snipers now more than there’s ever been in fps games in general. If you get quick scoped, it’s not really because you did anything wrong, it’s because dude had the reflexes and the accuracy to lock in on you in a heart beat and pull the trigger. At the end of the day you still have the advantage with an assault rifle, if he misses, he dies, if you came out the corner jumping, you can throw off his aim, if you drop shotted you woulda definitely won the gun fight, if you miss your first shot, it’s no big deal, it’s a full auto weapon, adjust your aim and keep shooting and win. I had my fair sure of fun quick scoping but when I was using the ak74 I was destroying any and every sniper, I mean it was the best gun in the game, not the sniper rifles. So basically you can run around with that clearly op sub machine gun but if you get quick scoped you think the guy with the sniper rifle is the problem??

This is why I genuinely hate the removal of dolphin diving and the addition of booty sliding. It just added another sweat mechanic. The Drop/Jump shotting was plenty back in the day, but still tolerable. But seeing people slide around the corner into a bunny jumping festival or oily butt-sliding fiesta is flat out annoying.

I never use assault rifles, lmgs, nothing like that, I solely sniper and as a quick scoper myself I’m telling you that the sliding and drop shotting targets are by far the hardest to hit/react to.

I get sliding could be annoying but it’s a much more useful mechanic than dolphin diving. Dolphin diving was useful for certain situations but for the most part it was more of a gimmick than anything.

Here's the bottom line. Call of Duty has been around for a very long time. When I see these devs repeatedly make the same mistakes every year... seriously, like, what's the point of an Alpha or Beta? To get our opinions over and over? C'mon man. If these guys don't know how to make a good game by now they will never make a good game. Every single year we get the same thing. They know sniping in this game is op. They know sbmm is ruining the franchise. All the same things we complain about every year, they already know! This is how they bait us into buying their games. It's easy. They do the reveal and talk about how this years cod is going to be the best, innovative game they've ever created. Then the alpha/beta and them telling us they're listening and will correct the things people are talking about. Then the actual game drops and guess what...yup, it turns out to be the same bs we were all complaining about. Repeat the following year. I'm staying away from spending my money on this game til at least a month after release. I should know by then whether or not to waste my time and money on it.

Bruh, snipers have been in the shittiest place since bo4.. first off the movement in the game got giga boosted in bo4 and u could not hit shots cause everyone ran so fast, second of all in the new MW its camp galore so no one plays open, meaning no ones gonna snipe in the cubicles people are camping in. Along with that, everyone had super sprint, so even when you chose to go out in the world u just super sprint to the next camp spot. Lastly they put fucking FLASHLIGHTS on the sniper scope when you zoomed in that everyone could see from any point of the map. AND they gave almost no quick ads attatchments.

Tav Ferry it’s easier to use than the snipers because there is far less room for error. If you miss with a sniper you have to rechamber the round. With the type 23 you can just keep spamming shots till the target dies.

I slowed down the the sniping shots and what I saw was snipers got mad aim assist on top of a very fast ads , they need to remove aim assist from the snipers and tune down the ads and make them a 2 shot from point blank range and 1 shot from long range to the head or chest, that way I think the snipers would be balanced

StraightOutThaGudda 4U they have 1000% no aim assist thats the point. And noscope kills are just luck cause 20 times u miss ur noscope cause the bullet goes anywhere on ur screen. I play sniper for my self since mw2. And i think they are just fine. If u can not aim in fast, in a fast based game like cod, than playing sniper rifle is pointless. Go play sniper a bit for ur self than upload ur video and show us how easy it is. If its that easy than u should go better than everybody with ar or mp. So show me than. Otherwise stop crying. The problem is not the snipers, the problem is SBMM!!! Thats the reason why u get into lobbys where people dont even miss a shot!!! And thats the only problem. First day in the alpha there was no SBMM and there was everthing normal cause people missing shots there. But since SBMM kicked in, nobody is missing shots and thats why sniper looks strong af.
