I haven't bought or played CoD since Black Ops 2. I don't even own a modern gaming system since I just don't play anymore. A solid, faithful, non-micro transaction remaster of MW2 might have actually gotten me to invest in a new system and game. Corporations are so short sighted and greedy.

no MTX, no SBMM, implimented an anticheat, fan created dedicated servers for h2m fans, I mean this was gonna be MASSIVE. Its still alive, but I think Activision def put a dent in it, but thankfully the leakers brought it back alive.

apparently the leaked build is full of malware from what i've seen be reported. Preliminary reports seem like it was just full of false positives, but from more recent reports i've seen people throw around what looks like it has a RAT in it.

@@thefallencog Nah, morons downloaded a third-party .exe file from the now deleted H2M revived discord server, which had a RAT within it. The OG leak has no viruses within the game files.

Although its sad the mod is still playable. The Dev working on the mod left the mod and are teaming up with S2M the COD Online like mod for MW2 and will be making a new mod together. Its now called HorizonMW From what i heard and seen it seems like they want to recreate COD Online/ brining back what S2M wanted. They are going to bring all the good OG maps and weapons. The best of every COD all in one package with a working matchmaking system.

Honestly, it was obvious it would get a c&d later, and anyone who thought this wouldn’t happen just hasn’t paid attention for the last few years. Activision isn’t the only company that doesn’t allow this. The mod required MWR, but used assets from MW2 2009 and MW2R Campaign that weren't required for players to own, therefore they were distributing these copyrighted assets with the mod download and Activision was never going to let that fly. Sure, the fact that they did a sale and pulled the plug right before it launched, which was scummy. But if you looked at how SM² shut down, you could've seen this coming a mile away.

There are BO3 custom zombies maps that are outright remasters of old maps from previous cod games and straight up port assets from those games. Activision doesn't seem to have a problem with that.

Also the good thing was that a lot of creators shared almost immediately that you can get a full refund within the first two hours after your initial purchase of MWR, a lot of people got a refund so Activision can suck it!!! I haven’t played COD since BO3 and it’s been bliss

What they didnt tell you is that WatchfulWolf (the guy who announced the mod as his project) has been pirating cod in his discord server for years and there just so happen to me someone who works at activision in there. Ive been in his discord for a couple years now literally every cod besides like 3 he has for free in his server he even says in his videos in the most obvious way ever, 'if you dont own the game we will gift you one in my server'. Hes an idiot multiple people in that discord including me told him do not A. announce this under an alias you go by B. Dont drop a fkn trailer giving them literal time to put together any legal documents they can. BTW the mod is still up there were people including me in his discord trashing him for being an idiot and scavenging for the files.

F them. Our lobbies in Australia are broke, they know this amd arent fixing them. Every game the ping breaks a minute in and has since mid season 3. So now theres nobody playing. You can barely find a match with crossplay turned off, only S&D has players in it consistently. And i love ffa, you have a legit 5 min wait minimum, and youll be playing the same dudes all the time. Or you get shoved into an asian server on a 250ms ping. Or worse a usa one. So dumb. This will happen again a coupla months into bs6. Same every time. And the shop sales will trend down. So i dont why they DONT FIX IT.
