40k Detachment Focus - Chaos Daemons: Plague Legion

If GW is gonna keep pushing these Battle Shock Focus detachments, they need to change battle shock on a fundamental level.

I love this detachment. The sensation of stink up to death and debuffthem is one of the thinks i love about nurgle. Complain all you want, but you can force 3 battleshock + the stratagems + the units under half. I just love the idea of take an oponent point just by making their army get constantly gross out and sick

as unreliable as battleshock is, it should be "every unit within engagement range of a nurgle daemons unit"

One thing: this detachment certainly does have good CP generation. Epidemius gives us CP for killing stuff w nurgle daemons

don't like the Nurgle one. You lose too much compared to the old one. Plus, I hate Battleshock because most of the time, even with a -1, the enemy doesn't even get Battleshocked that often, and against nids with their 3 dice, it's just stupid.

The crit 5s Strat on spoilpox unit of bearers with rotigus +1 DMG and extra ap aura slaps. 20 attacks Sus and leathal 5+ ap2 2dmg I wiped a whole 10man chosen with Abby attached in a round

Dude it's almost like you didn't even read this thing correctly the add 5" movement only works if you make a normal move not an advance so it cancels it out. 😅

I don’t understand why they won’t just roll the Daemons in with the Chaos legions. Even if this detachment were great, if you run mono-Nurgle, you’re functionally bringing a 2K list of GUOs, plaguebearers, beasts and a couple Nurglings. Mono-god chaos daemons don’t have the unit range to support their own armies. Think about how much better Nurgle Daemons would be supported by (or supporting, depending on which is your main force) Death Guard.

I would hate that. I don’t want to play Death Guard, I want to play Nurgle Daemons.
