Killing off soup was a stupid move when they could’ve simply done this from the start. So many fluffy army lists, like Celestine leading Guardsmen (which was actually something she did, to the point that she had rules explicitly benefitting Guardsmen in 8th edition), or having more than one Knight in a non-Knights list, just got completely killed off for the sake of tournament players. They could have just used detachments to limit broken combos.
