I would like to see an in depth Pact Bound Zealots. Is it Word Bearer Theme? Is it actually good in being able to play other than Slaanesh/Nurgle. I would argue that it is good theme but failed implemented

It's Word Bearers themed, but how well it executes it is up for debate. Unfortunately yes, Tzeentch and Khorne as your allegiance is pretty bad, 90% of the time you're going to take Slaanesh, Nurgle, or Undivided. Only unit I ever take a Tzeentch is Obliterators, because you can resurrect an entire model with Skinshift. Only one I've ever taken as Khorne is Daemon Prince with wings, but even that's not great. Despite all that, it's actually one of the more powerful detachments.

I think it’s still the best detachment. As the synergy with the army rule is just the best. Crits on a 5+ works best with Lethal/Sustained hits. I had to many games I got MW for nothing as no 6 came up with the dice rolls.

My point is exactly that the allegiance is failed. 1. Word Bearer theme is undivided or unaligned. 2. The codex detachments are for unaligned detachments. 3. PBZ sounds good but is designed to only be a 2 god pact. 4. The only reason people play is for the dark pact 5+ nurgle/slaanesh. With a touch of undivided for zeal. Options to be more aligned with word bearers theme and undivided yet still pact bound zealots. Option 1. Remove mark focus to be unaligned. Dark Pacts 6+ but can use full Strats for every unit. Same with enhancements. Option 2. Remove mark focus. units led by a character can increase dark pact to 5+. Mark focus also removed from enhancements. I’ll add more options but the main issue is forcing pacts based on marks takes away the unaligned undivided and word bearers theme. As it forces you to focus on choosing one or 2 marks like nurgle/ slaanesh. Option 3. All units are considered to have all 4 marks. Option 4. Create another detachment that is more word bearers theme
