Every one is saying the same as I wanted to, but you are a legend, I enjoyed you catching that fish far more than all the commercial, I Fish, Hook line and Sinker, etc shows, I think that fish caught you, came up to slime you and a kiss good by. Great fish mate. If your going to release dont grab it in the gills. Use a lip gaff. Much less stressful on the fish.

Thanks mate I fish for Jews in the harbour but we don’t get anything over 10kgs and the hawksbury river we have tried there but never caught a Jew there only sharks so what were the tides like when you got it and what do you look for on the sounder and a really good video

Always good to see catch and release, but why man-handle the fish like that? Too hard to release boat-side without the “look at me”? Just remember that we don’t need to see the fish for you to enjoy the moment.

MMM BASS the fish was pushing 40kg and my adrenaline was cranking , and so u know for anyone that knows how sharp there gills are would know that my hands aren’t even hurting the fish as they were outside the gills as they would have cut my hands to pieces , hence the great release !
